livers is active tonight so hopefully that means we never have to see knox play again.

indy is on the second half of a back to back as well so nobody has a rest advantage though indy was home-home while we had to travel from new york to indianapolis overnight.

indy is a fairly young team so hopefully we can be more competitive against them.

go pistons!

Knox only played two game give the man a break what has Cade done in these two games and he’s your franchise player

Somewhat interested. I didn't actually think Ivey was falling to us and had accepted Mathurin (or Murray) as the likely pick, and the young man is scoring well already. Theoretically, Pistons should be able to impose a defense on this team. A lot more seasoned talent in NY, but I honestly don't know how Detroit will ever win another game if anything like their first half bench play last night happens again.

Ever.

Knox has played multiple seasons in the NBA (this is his second contract) and has pretty much always sucked. Didn’t like the pickup at the time and like it even less now.

Cade’s struggles are irrelevant here, but i sure hope it’s a short term thing.

I can watch Ivey spam 2 feet in the paint, sucking in the D, and whipping it for a 3 all day. Can't believe there were doubts about his playmaking.

Ivey sure looks like a big 6'4". Maybe it's just his arm length.

Similar to Duren, Ivey is another player I thought was a lot closer to NBA-ready from Day 1 than not. I didn't agree whatsoever with the "he's unpolished, he's going to be a turnover machine, he's going to struggle mightily, etc." stuff. Having watched him play a lot in college I thought the criticisms, similar to Duren, were just canned responses thrown out because he's a rookie rather than based on actually watching him play and understanding his strengths and weaknesses.

There is absolutely a tangible difference having Duren in the paint both on offense and defense. He seems to be EVERYWHERE on D this game, affecting a lot of shots.

Bagley and Burkes will definitely help with a lack of depth talent
