Game 10: Pistons (2-7) vs. Cavaliers (6-1) Nov. 4 7:00 PM EST

cavs are looking dominant so far AND just got garland back. they're ranked 7th offensively, 2nd defensively and have mismatches all over the place against us.

so far we've had cade defend the best opposing guard with ivey's inexperience but there's nowhere to hide ivey here with both garland and mitchell being studs offensively. we also have a short front court and the cavs have four guys (allen, mobley, love, wade) that are taller than anyone in our starting lineup.

i won't be able to catch the game but hopefully they can be competitive!

Bey is frequently the barometer for these types of games. If he's playing well then we're probably competetive with a chance to win. If he's playing poorly the team is probably struggling.

It's kinda wild how reliant we are on him, but we need that 3rd/4th scorer to deliver. Cade will be there. I expect Bojan to show up. If Bey can give us an efficient 18-22 pts then we got a game.

This is the type of backcourt we should be able to expose. Both too small

D.Mitch always has it out for us. He thought we would draft him because of that killer workout where he didnt miss a shot. Take the over on his scoring prop we cant stop him.

O/U is 25.5 hes went over that 7 of the last 8 times hes played us. Also hes having a career year avg 31 in 7 shooting 43% from 3. Hes a lock for 30+ vs our defenders.

Keep an eye on whether he plays. He tweaked an ankle late against Boston the other night and is listed as questionable.

We need locked in Duren to be competitive in this one.

We really need to run Duren and Stew out there together a lot or we’re gonna get absolutely murdered inside and on the boards. Imagine Bey or Bojan “guarding” Mobley.

The Cavs have good interior defense. We'll need more of Cade's midrange and our guys hitting 3s in this one to stand a chance. Less of Ivey, Diallo, and others taking it inside just to get stuffed.

We're 2-7. We're not exposing anything. We can't even open our own trench coat.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

What you did there...I see it.

And a little double entendre myself for good measure.

Bojan is an absolute zero on defense. I guess we already knew that, though.
