Pistons off a much welcomed 2-day rest. Playing a lower-level team after a challenging 6-game stretch.

Pistons laying 1.5.

I like the Thunder in this one. We got nothing to stop SGA. SGA averaging 30.5 on the season my bold prediction he hits a season high and goes for 40+

If Killian can play decent defense on him, he could have a role.

If were depending on Killian the game is already lost

The Thunder are a better team than us, but I predict we eke one out at home.

Not depending - just seeing if he has worth. If he can't defend, he has no business on the floor.

It would be a waste of time to play him when SGA isn't in the game.

He’d better add a decent number of time-requisite assists, rebounds and steals too.

the thunder are better than anticipated so far but it's not because of their offense with SGA's great play - it's their defense. their offense is ranked 25th so far (pistons are 26th) but their defense is ranked 5th.

it's a shame holmgren is injured, OKC would be even more fun to watch between him, SGA and giddey.

Ugh.

We're painful to watch against teams that play defense...

Not that we're a joy to watch otherwise, but you get me. This is rough. I was expecting us to not be good. I wasn't expecting to be the worst team in the league. And yes, I'm pretty sure we're the worst. I know the Rockets have a worse record but our net rating is worse.

For the next 20 games, it is fair to assume this will be the only game Pistons will be favored to win. I simply won't watch if they don't show some fight in that first quarter, someone beside our undersized center.

New low tonight? Bojan and Bey both go off? At least Duren should be back.

If you look at our schedule out from now to late Dec/next year, there's really not a lot out there in terms of where we're favored regardless. Unless we take drastic steps to get that offense improved from bottom tier and tighten up defense and rebounding, it's going to be tumultuous no matter what

Every basket we score seems like pulling teeth

When I read it, it's somehow worse, and cuts deeper.

Good grief.

So here's the seasons score thus far;

Last year 2-8

This year 2-8

Next game the Pistons lost, going 2-9, so this years team cannot be worse if they lose tonight. Now the next game, well, that's a different story.

They shouldn't be though and that's where the Casey factor comes in. Yes, the Pistons have been missing a lot of depth this season due to injury but I feel like they're underachieving a tad and that's at least partly due to the coaching.

Lots of injuries which have destroyed the bench and... Casey. The team is flawed as is mainly due to youth but when you're missing 3-4 key guys all season, it makes it all the more tougher to grind out W's. Of course Casey doesn't recognize this so he puts all the best players to start and leaves nothing for the bench so they immediately get caved.

I enjoyed watching Chet in Summer League, and thought he'd be a good player, but injury was on my mind, which is why I didn't want the Pistons selecting him. And I'm convinced Victor will miss a ton of games, too, but he looks great. I think we got our luck, and will have to wait another 40-50 years before getting another one. Plus, losing takes a toll, especially on all these young guys who won their entire life, despite Cade saying this is the most talented team he's ever played for. But there's 29 other teams, and we can't allow him to leave, because Ben Wallace isn't going to be on the other end of the next trade.

Great start by Beef Stew in this one. He's really active and working hard on both sides.

2-2 from the floor and 2 rebounds, 1 block, 1 steal and a few other contests inside in 3 minutes.
