They are no longer just listed as "out"
Burks is "questionable"
Bagley is "doubtful"

Perhaps this is fan/fun bias, but if Burks and Bagley both return, I think they should start Duren, Beef Stew, Bey, Ivey, and Cade with Bagley, Bojan, Livers, Burks, and Hayes (because the Pistons are more dogmatic about playing Killian than a Trump loyalist is to election denial) off the bench. It makes too much sense in our "development" year.

When the Pistons lose tonight, they will be 3-9, the exact same record as last year. (3-9).
I am really hoping Burks does indeed hit the floor. This team desperately needs scoring off the bench, not to mention his shooting prowess.
I'm also, again hopeful, that Casey will finally realize that the starting unit hes been trotting out is amongst the worst defensively in the league, and that by sending either Bojan, or Bey to the bench, it would not only fix the starting unit, but also give a huge boost to the bench. Two birds one stone.
The current starting until is 2nd in total points scored per game (49.7) 1st in games played together(10) on the 21st page of FG%(45.2) of 40 pages of 5 man units, 2nd in FGA(37.6), 2nd in three point attempts (15.3) 16th page in 3P%(37.9), 1st in free throw attempts (11.5), 1st in RPG (19.1), 8th in APG(10.2), 2nd in fouling(8.9) 1st in fouls drawn(9.7), 3rd in Turnovers(6.1), 1st in mpg(20.2).
A bunch of those stats are actually good, but they are, over 10 games, -2.2, page 31 of 40 five man groups.
It's the defense that is just killing the team. A poor mix in the starters is doing it.
If it's the same;
Cade
Ivey
Bey
Bojan
Stewart
I fully expect more of the same tonight.

Duren being back makes us capable of being competitive. I think we at least make Boston work for it.

Last game Casey subbed out Bey at the 6 min mark in the 1st and 3rd quarters and then Bey later came back in for Cade.... essentially leaving one of them on the court for all 48 minutes so the bench scoring won't be so bad.... 100% an improvement from him as a coach.

Burks and Bagley now listed as out.
Pistons going to get destructed tonight. I'll watch until my eyes start to bleed. Porterhouses, mushrooms, asparagus, sweet potatoe fries, and beer.
Hope I'll get to finish my meal before the game is out of hand.

Bojan, fresh off of vastly over-priced extension, is the much easier to move to the bench "politically".

I'd like to see at least one game, just to see how we are. I don't usually have a reactionary view to just one game, but to me, anyone else getting his minutes would benefit our team. Burks.. Hell, even Cojo can shoot 40% from 3 (and did last year).
I just want everyone healthy. Yes, I figure since we're losing anyway, that we need to play our young players, especially Duren. Even Killian, but I'd like to see how Burks does, and to see what difference it makes.
I also like the idea of Hami starting, surrounded by shooters.. It would REALLY help our fast breaks, having Cade with the ball, Ivey on one wing, and then Hami on the other. How would they stop that? Every guy knows (and has said) it's all about the defense. Casey, Cade, and others mentioned how the defense leads to their offense. Bey talked about Bojan's leadership at half-time, and how he guarded SGA full-court, which means the other guys can't just stand around.
It would be a great win!

I wouldn't bring him off the bench. He opens things up for Cade/Ivey.

This might be a bit closer than expected. Celts shoot a lot of 3s and our problem defensively seems to be giving no resistance to cutters and people driving to the hoop. Also their D hasn't been great without Williams, so the lanes to the basket should be open for us. Ivey especially should be able to get penetration. Hopefully we bring what we had in the 2nd half of the game v OKC.

I want Ivey to run point when Cade’s off the floor. It’s tough for Ivey to do that while Killian is on the floor.

Agreed! I was shouting WTF at the tube when I saw that.
It'd be nice if we scored a basket... and BB delivers.
