Bojan possible trade ideas

Bojan is too good, I wouldn't trade him for a late 1st and most teams that would be interested in him don't have anything other than late 1sts, but what are some possible destinations for him?
Lakers? PatBev + Nunn + bad distant 1st
Cleveland? Osman + Okoro + Windler for Bojan + McGruder
Miami? They don't have the assets to acquire Bojan and dump Robinson
Dallas? They don't have the assets to acquire Bojan and dump Bertans or THJr
GSW? Wiseman + Kuminga + Ty Jerome for Bojan (we would need to add value, probably Bey or Stew and I wouldn't do it)
Minny? D'Lo for Bojan + Hayes They don't have assets to add and I wouldn't want D'Lo, he is awful.
Portland? They already robbed us Jerami Grant, are we going to be Dame's farm?
Phoenix? Crowder + Saric + 1st for Bojan
My point is, I don't see a viable trade for Bojan. It's either bad contracts with minor and irrelevant assets (assets that are not even worth the bad contracts imo) Or very bad 1sts or very bad youngish players like D'Lo or Okoro.

I think we keep him for this season, he's been a valuable scorer and seems like a good veteran for the young team to have around. Will still be a useful trade chip at next season's trade deadline due to the nature of his contract.

I don't think Detroit extended him to trade him this season. I would think that would have lessened his trade value being on the books for that money next year. Didn't his desire for extension scare LAL and PHX off reportedly?

I'd still try to trade him at the deadline (trade value is quite high, relatively speaking) but the Pistons management is probably not interested in doing that this season.

For this draft class, I’d take a late first and pick a guy like Gradey Dick.

It's only 1 extra year (the last year is partially guaranteed IIRC), I doubt anyone is scared of that. The extension increased his value for sure and he's been playing out of his mind for us. 3-4 games ago he was a top 15 offensive player in the league, I am not sure where he is right now, but should still be around that.

I think the Warriors are a really interesting trade partner with Wiseman and Kuminga.
The Suns offer would likely be Crowder/Saric and a first, which I'm not overly excited about.

He's not going anywhere.

I really think it’s going to have to be a fairly substantial offer. I think the extension was partially for the purpose of keeping him, but also to up his trade value should that become a possibility.
I’m not trading him and the “Knicks with seconds” pair to take on Westbrook.

Westbrook + mad 2nd's (or a future 1st if possible. perhaps protected) + a few small expiring non-rotation types
for
Hayes + Burks + Bojan + Bagley
If Hayes and Bagley put together a decent amount of solid games, LAL might want to try to contend this way.
We could buyout GOATBrook too so he could re-sign with LAL.
We would have 2nd's or a future 1st along with nearly $40m extra in cap space.
I doubt the Pistons would irl and I'm just about sure that LAL fans on this board would say no.

I'm fine trading him if a 1st rounder is on the table. I'm also fine holding him until zero.

Bojan has some trade value for sure, but Utah was only able to get expirings for him no picks. From what it sounded like, the deals with picks included taking back more salary. Hayes, Bagley, and Burks really have no trade value at all and some could be considered negative value.

I don't get it. What does this do for the Pistons? They don't need "extra" cap space so what's the point?

What does what Utah got for him have to do with us? Would you rather have Bojan or AT BEST the 32nd best player in the draft next year? Hmmm easy decision. Would you rather have Bojan or a bunch of capspace to get a guy to impact the team kinda like..........ummm......BOJAN?
Point being Utah's motivation to trade him wasn't the same as ours would be so them giving him away has nothing to do with us. The trade proposal was terrible.

There’s no reason for us to trade him, and no particular reason to believe anything has happened to change what other teams will give up for him- any team that traded for him could have easily signed him to that same extension- and that’s the only real change that has taken place with respect to him since we traded for him.
He’s good at basketball and is a solid veteran presence- no need to deal him unless something of substantial value is coming back- and I don’t see why that’d be out there.
Furthermore- why would cap space be appealing to us in a trade involving him? We could have had “extra space” by not extending him.

Reasons to trade him.
#1. To get a return of assets that will serve us better in the long therm than having him here will.
#2. To open up a starting spot for a younger guy.
#3. To give more shots to young guys like Cade, Ivey, etc
#4. It almost certainly ensure we're a bottom 3 team this year and will have a 14% chance of landing VW.
Reasons to keep him.
#1. No team offers a significant enough of a package that helps us longer term to compel us to make the trade.
#2. We've already lost a ton the past 3 seasons and its starting to wear on the fanbase and players.
#3. Having him out there on the court actually helps with young player development and player morale.

There's definitely a reason to trade him. But there's absolutely zero reason to accept just anything because of what Utah did.

LOL, maybe I'm wrong or something. Bojan and even re-signing Burks could help the younger fellas and even be in the rotation for another 4 years after this one.
If Bagley and Hayes achieve trade value (expirings and a mid-2nd), then maybe that means they are too good to trade.
I still wanna say I would trade them. *shrug*
