Veteran role players Nerlens Noel and Alec Burks are also trade candidates to watch closer to the deadline. Noel isn’t expected to finish the season with Detroit, HoopsHype has learned. Burks has gotten off to a torrid start since returning to the lineup and is expected to draw interest from playoff-caliber teams closer to the trade deadline.

Burks was never with the lineup earlier to call it a return.
He couldnt be bothered to play a game till 11/11, despite having an entire off season to presumably sleep?

Recovering and rehabbing from foot surgery he had in late June. I assume he slept some of the time.

Head coach Dwane Casey said Monday that Bey flew back to Detroit to receive treatment for his sprained right ankle, signaling that forward won't be available for the remaining three contests of the Pistons' three-game road trip, James L. Edwards III of The Athletic reports.

Before the last game I would have called you insane, but without Bey, everything was smoother, and the team was more competitive without him.
*shrug*
I honestly don't know what to expect anymore with this team.

Missed last game, but I assumed the ball would've zipped around more without Bey.

I hope to see more of the ball movement they had at times in the last game. Hopefully we see Ivey continue to learn where and when to use his speed, one thing worth watching this season.

Bojan caught that in his shot release area and drained it from 3

Nuggets are pretenders imo. They have good players but will never beat the elites

Murray and Porter not living up to their deals through injuries or whatever else has killed them

Hayes really starting to looking more confidant with that jumper. It's almost like there were expectations to start the season and games were meaningful, and now he is playing freely because we already can't get worse and we've been knocked down to another "development" / "tank" year.
Hayes has had really poor starts to all three seasons and then finished much stronger as each season went on.

Bagley screen is weird... like he sets the screen and then just stands there which does nothing to create space for anyone it just creates a crowd. You either are a threat to shoot so you pick and pop or you are a threat rolling to the basket. Setting the pick and then just staying right next to Ivey doesn't seem to work to free up anyone.

But the strong finishes for fringe players is because competition has lessened too. That’s why guys like Frank Jackson always look so promising in April. Killian’s issue seems to be super mental.

Killian has done well enough that I'm ok with him taking wide open 3s... but knock that between the legs step back **** off or go sit down.
