Bally's Extra (707 on Concast)

This would be another great win. Confidence goes a long way.

~14 hours and counting...

Mike Curtis: Jaden Ivey (right knee soreness), Killian Hayes (left calf soreness) and Hamidou Diallo (non-Covid illness) are questionable for tomorrow’s game against the #Suns.

If you've been itching to see Cojo play 40 minutes, tonight is your night!

CoJo and Burkes backcourt,
Duren with Bagley and Bojan frontcourt.

Knox,Noel, Keys and a couple 2ways or G Leaguers to fill out a 2nd unit?

We will probably outperform Caseys normal rotation by going ass backwards with our minutes.

If all 3 were out, you'd have to assume Burks and CoJo each get 36+ minutes tonight.

C:Noel (24) / Duren (24)
F: Bagley (24) / Knox (24)
F: Bojan (36) / Livers (12)
G: Livers (24) / Burks (24)
G: CoJo (36) / Burks (12)

We'd likely have to play bigger with Bagley at PF, and an 8 man rotation overall.

I'd guess Duren has more minutes than 24, but it will be interesting to see how it plays out, especially if someone gets in foul trouble early. I don't know if Knox can play too much at the 4.

Yeah, I think this is another skip for me, not looking forward to watch 36 minutes of CoJo and 36 minutes of Bagley.

I'd love a win. It's the only way guys develop. It's the difference between shots going in or in and out -- confidence.

The worst team has a 14% chance. Winning another game, and we'll still be Bottom 3 when the season is over.

Plenty of time for development but that pick is very important moving forward.

I look at the Lottery as the worse you are the less you can fall back with there being good odds of teams right behind you moving up.

We went deep with our rotation minutes last two games and in fact no one last game played more than 30 minutes which is damn well balanced. With Ivey and Hayes being out, that might put them all within even closer to 30 across the board this time around

I'm anticipating Duren having his way against a slumping/disengaged Ayton

So tonight is all about Duren, I dig it.

If he doesn't start then this is gonna be tough to watch.

As of right now.

Cade/Bey/Stewart all remain out for tonight's game.

CoJo(Illness), Diallo (Illness), Killian (calf), Ivey (right knee soreness) all listed as questionable at the moment.

James Edwards III: There’s a chance the Pistons are without Hayes, Ivey and Diallo against the Suns tonight, as all are questionable. Cunningham, Bey and Stewart remain OUT.

I thought there was a chance Stew would play today, after being recalled from the G-League.

Since they are already on a west coast road trip, I'd assume the earliest he will play will be Sunday vs the Cavs when we start a four game home stand.... likely the reason he went to the G League was so he could go get practice in while the team was on a long road trip.

yeah i don't know how often it is that a player would fly out to the opposite coast on their own when coming back from injury. the time with the g league was probably just to get him some practice time before he came back and this way he gets a couple extra days of rest too.

Bagley with some low IQ offense... like he went 9 for 10 last game so he thinks he has the green light to do anything anywhere on the floor including step back 18 footers after a bunch of dribbling. Makes no sense to play like that.
