It's the only game in town for me. I like seeing what guys can do when they get a consistent chance. Good for Weaver to see why we played so much better without our starting line-up. Is it just hustle?

We’ve had exciting, competitive games our whole western road trip even as players have increasingly gone down to injury. If we are consistently competing, calling it a garbage product comes off as being a hater.

"But i wanna see Hayes, McGruder and the boys win a meaningless game"

Yeah, I don't understand what some people are talking about. The Pistons have actually put a pretty entertaining product out there the last 5-6 games or so. It would be nice if it's more driven by the younger players going forward but they certainly haven't been playing like garbage.

Defense has been so much better without Cade and Bey. Maybe also its just the fact that more people are getting shots on offense and that translates to increased defensive effort as well. We for sure have been competing at a much better level.
If there is one thing I can't stand to watch, its a 30th ranked defense because a lot of that comes down to effort, not skill.

I will watch the game because the Lions played on Thanksgiving so they don't play today (and I was at the game; company tickets), and Michigan whipped Ohio State's ass yesterday, so other than daisy chaining my boat batteries and hooking them up to the charger in the garage I have nothing else going on. And I won't have an extreme emotional reaction to this game no matter what happens. I'll just watch the game then probably find a movie on Netflix, Prime or Hulu. Later on I'll go to bed then get up for work tomorrow morning.

This one ought to be interesting, and by interesting, I mean oh my. I'm having a hard time remembering a more beat-up Piston team.
No starters, all injured. Almost unbelievable.

Bey is playing tonight.... Pistons submitted the foul where Bojan's foot got stepped on to the league (not sure what their hope is for it to be resolved I can't see them replaying that game due to a no foul call).
Cade, Ivey, Stew, and Bojan are all out.

yeah if there's any good news on the injury front for the pistons it's that jarrett allen, kevin love and caris levert are also out for the cavs.
i guess our starters will be cojo, hayes, bey, livers and bagley? looks like they'll start garland, mitchell, wade, mobley and lopez so we're still going against a big front court.

Smart thing to do would be to play Bagley and Duren together, and bring Noel off the bench.
Fat chance that happens.

I would also be very keen on seeing local ratings, and see how much they have nose-dived since the start of the season.
I'm gonna go look now.

Didn't we shoot fewer 3 pointers in the road trip? That also may have something to do with better D. When they are focused on taking a ton of threes, they often shoot them early in the shot clock. Also, paint points are higher percentage shots overall which means fewer rebounds the other team can fast break from.

Bagley needs to adjust to the bench seeing as that's his best case scenario on a playoff team
