Might as well get this baby started up.
Burks Bojan Noel Cojo all decent odds of getting moved.
This super exciting tweet talked me into making this thread

Ian Bagley is a New York guy. He specially calls out Noel because he’s a former Knick. There has to be another player attached to that trade.

We have several useful vets and other misc pieces that others may find attractive. I expect Burks, Noel & Bogey to all draw interest and I'm sure we'll dangle Diallo.

The chances of somebody like Duren going anywhere are remote, but that's because we'd never get back enough value. In theory everybody should be available for the right price. *shrug*

Yeah, nobody will take Diallo.

Burks and Bojan I could easily see having small value.

Noel for McGee and 2025 SRP doesn't work capwise. Any other fodder contract means Pistons have to cut McGruder and Weaver wouldn't do that for a 2025 SRP.

Reggie Bullock is owed 5.5M next season to cut him. 2025 SRP not worth taking on that money.

Tim Hardaway Jr
Bertans
Finney-Smith
Dwight Powell
Reggie Bullock
Maxi Kleber

Tons of different players they would possibly trade in the right type of deal.

Its pretty obvious that Noel could only be ok being out of the rotation in a contract year for so long... especially on one of the worst teams in the league. If we can't find a trade for him we'd likely need to buy him out so he can go somewhere and play, which won't happen here if Bagley and Duren are both healthy.

I used to hate Kuz, but he seems to have matured as a player and a person. He’s solid.

Still a chucker, tho.

I don’t really get it for us.

I don’t think adding win-now talent to this team is going to achieve any results. With Cade out I think you pack it in for the year.

Kuzma will surely opt out of 13M PO at the end of the season and be getting a solid raise. Weaver could likely wait on him in FA and bid on him as a UFA.

Not buying the person portion. I don't know exactly what it was he did the last time he played us this year but it made me instantly think that he hadn't changed. Apologies for the weak/vagueness of this response. I remember the reaction more than the catalyst.

Kuzma only makes sense if its on the cheap so we get a better look at him before we decide to dump FA $$ on him.

He is scoring 20 PPG but isn't very efficient doing it and is shooting the 3 ball at a 31% clip this season.

If he just costs us Noel + CoJo sure.

If he just costs us Bagley sure.

If he just costs us Burks + Diallo sure.

If he costs us any picks or Bojan its not worth it.

Kuzma has the mix of still being relatively young and 3 and D upside that we could use on this team longterm. The front office has a pretty good track record of only trading for upcoming free agents they're confident they can lock up. For the right price, I love it.

Overall, I like our mix of players right now and with Cade injured and being so young, we're tanking just fine with the current roster. I'm happy to sit back and build a culture and continuity unless someone wants to way overpay for one of the vets.

Would you trade for Kuzma and sent Stewart to the bench? What's your lineup look like after a Kuzma trade?

Kuzma can play the SF position, and be a vertical threat as well.

Cade
Ivey
Kuzma
Stewart
Duren

Why not?

So you're trading away Bojan to make room for Kuzma? Seems like a downgrade.... unless you get Kuzma for cheap and get nice assets for Bojan.

I haven't seen any of those Warriors play in a long time - always in and out of the rotation, or injured.
