I remember how excited this forum was after we beat the Warriors the first time. After beating Orlando to start the season, we dropped 5 in a row before beating the defending champs (by double digits) at LCA on a Sunday night. There was a lot of hope and optimism after that win. Bey had a big game scoring, Stew controlled the glass, and Cade was the set up man... Just like it was supposed to be our young guys leading us to victory and doing it over a quality opponent fresh off their championship.

Feels like that was forever ago.

Wow. I totally forgot about that. I noticed we've probably have the best record against them during their championship run

I've missed Killian these past few games. I hardly watched the 3 games since I don't really care to watch Cojo and Alec Burks put up shots. Killian has been one of the only entertaining story lines of the season with his surge in play. I might actually watch today to see if he plays well after a week off.

Same.. I just hope he hasn't lost a step, but he's going to get all the chances. With Bagley out, it'll free up minutes for him as long as he isn't in foul trouble. Very excited to see how he plays.

I could be wrong, but it's possible that all our other guys improve, too. A few people have been saying how it looks like Ivey "could turn out to be DSJ" but I don't think so. Somewhere between DSJ and Morant. Maybe never an all-star, but if he can improve his defense. Some people I know see "fool's gold" - enough athleticism to get a stat (steal or block), but he can improve, too.

Although I was getting tired of him, especially because we gave him chances over and over, and because people kept saying "He hasn't play a full season" over and over, I never gave up on Killian; I thought he'd be a fine Cojo forever off the bench.. If a guy plays defense, I'm not worried about anything else. He's a playmaker, too, and I can't see him going back to shooting 15% and 2ppg on 33 mins.

Excited to see Kill tonight as well. Some good defense and passing would be such a breathe of fresh air for us right now.

Looking sharp out there so far, offense definately looks smoother with Killian out there. That was a perfect lob from Ivey to Duren though, love to see it.

Anybody who wants to end on a high make sure you dip out before the 3rd.

And that’s why Diallo is a great 11th man

It's a shame Diablo can't shoot the would be a valuable rotation player on a playoff team if he could.

What if we just built around Hami?

Diallo with the triple off the scrambled play and time running out... and follows it up with a hard fought offensive board and gets a trip to the FT line. Great to see him continuing to be a productive member of the 2nd unit.

You know, someone once said that if Diallo had a jump-shot, he would be a superstar.

I honestly believe that. He plays his ass off, amd has insane athleticism.

He's smart enough not to shoot it a ton though which is important. You can not have a jumpshot and shoot it a bunch like Josh Smith came in and did.... and you can not have a jumpshot and try to bring energy, defense, rebounding, off ball cuts, etc.

Hayes is such an excellent PG. Runs the show exactly how he's supposed to, and now that he will shoot the ball, he's really rounding into shape.

Best story of the season so far.(for me)

Duren having a very efficient 1st. He really makes some high IQ cuts to the rim which get him in position for easy points.

Orlando wins yet again... It's starting to look like there are only 4 bottom teams in the league in Detroit, Charlotte, Houston and San Antonio. Everyone else might end up with 30+ wins unless other teams turn to the tank.
