No Bigs No wins

Post#1 » by kellmellus50 » Wed Jan 11, 2023 1:36 am

I told everyone before the season started we needed another Big Center, but no one listened to me.
Now watch the pistons get dominated in the paint tonight, i seen this coming. I'm Happy I bet money against them
and will continue as long as the Bigs are sitting out each game
. Big Mistake not keeping BOL-BOL

It's kind of an (un)perfect storm of Duren, Bagley and Stewart being injured. Can't really plan too much when your top 3 guys in C minutes are out simultaneously.

i knew this would happen sometime during the season that's why you have an extra big instead of mc gruger.

You think having 1 more bigman was going to be the difference in tonights game? Really? Maybe stop and think before starting another useless thread. Possibly consider how you might positively contribute to a conversation. Cherry picking a segment in which we are holding out half the roster in a year in which we are not particularly rewarded for winning on top of that. C'mon man... do better.

Come on face the truth, the pistons screwed up and don't have enough bigs wake up and smell the roses.
they should have bought a guy or 2 up from the G leagues. you need to go back to retirement.

Noel is pretty good 4th option probably best 4th option in the league, he’s not even 30. Boogie cousins, Kanter, lol Jahill okafur, alot of centers out there not in league that can put up solid numbers.

Literally nobody thought our big rotation was set. The part everyone rightly objected to was bringing in a vet big to take minutes away from the bigs we were trying to develop. That's is incredibly short sighted thinking to prioritize a couple wins in a meaningless season over developmental minutes for the guys who we hope are going to be here when the game start to become important again.

You mean this thread, where you brought up an ok project big in Bassey and Mr No rebounds/No defense Luka Garza?
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2231473&hilit=Bassey

No one debated that we need help up front long term, but there are still no realistic players that are going to fix this season. We’re dealing with injuries and players not really playing defense.

Now you’re throwing Bol Bols name out there like you’re a basketball Nostradamus. ( keep in mind, we’ll all be aware that you edit his name in when/if you do.

We all felt we eventually needed help up front and a good amount questioned why we stopped the McGruder/Bol trade.

You attempting to act like you knew something here is like me saying this offseason we should draft random wing and then taking credit when a different wing has a great/good career.

Edit update because I just read part of your op
How much money did you bet?

No Bigs... No problem tonight against the TWolves... We're .500 with the small ball lineup.

Just to point out that against the Pelicans that we were a +3 with Diallo playing center (27 mins) and a -12 with Noel playing center (19 minutes).

I don't think it's the people you told that makes the roster decisions for Detroit.
