Pistons-Timberwolves (7pm)

Post#1 » by MortSahlfan » Wed Jan 11, 2023 7:28 am

I just fell asleep a few hours ago.. I was at the 4th quarter, and I'm sure we lost, but I'll finish it up soon.. I will try to go back to sleep, but it's nice knowing there's a game tonight.

But it was awful... But, we were missing 6 of our rotation guys, and they were all healthy.

But I'm still "mad as hell".... partly because Cade is out for the entire season.

Bojan and Livers are considered probable.

That would be really positive for our guys. I just want them to play hard... Defend and move the ball. Don't settle for 3's.

Ivey would've had an open layup if he just slowed down

Hayes sees the floor so well, and now that his offense has come on, he is 100% a keeper.

I really like his game.

I want to see him try to score 20 every game. He's being aggressive when he gets it, but next step is to start calling for it. Demand it. His mid-range game is nasty.

I kinda wanna see Killian/Diallo/Livers/Stewart/Duren with Killian really acting like a true #1. Put the ball in his hands and see what he can do.

Now your getting greedy. I'm just happy that he's a threat, and will take the damn shot.

His mid game is nasty though, and he could easily average 17 a game, but to get higher, he has to become better at getting all the way to the rim.

I keep forgetting Livers exists. Could he be the long term solution at the 3?

This team is so bad defensively, its actually shocking when you see Diallo, and Livers play because they care.

He was kinda a dark horse coming into the season, but he seemed to regress and really struggled with his shot early. Then he was hurt.

I guess it comes down to how good the other starters are. Either Livers OR Stewart are probably fine, but I'm not sure you want both unless you have a big 3 or a pair of superstars.

I can't believe how bad Jaden Ivey is at defense.

Oh wow, look at that. Play some kind of defense and it turns into points! Shocking.
