Ivey is driving me absolutely nuts, even moreso then Killian ever did.
He flashes elite play making, speed, and even defense, then has just bone-headed plays, turnovers, and utterly lost on defense. He looks great, and terrible in a 10-second window, and my brain can't keep up with the excite/disappoint combo.

Little run erased that deficit quick.

Bojan with 14 already, man, he could put up 40 tonight, hope other teams are watching.

His value is going up, and, up, and up.
I just hope he gets traded before he possibly gets injured.
Hell, he's trying out for the Pelicans right now.

Pelicans have the Lakers unprotected 2023 first and its a high risk pick for sure. The Lakers have played much better of late but that's the type of pick you swing for and hope the Lakers falter down the stretch.

This is barely the Pelicans - all their good players arent even dressed.
The NBA is weird. I havent checked to see if they are being rested or actually injured.

Their was a article on yahoo earlier about how over the top the load managing is getting. People paying alot for tickets in some cities and just getting screwed by stars sitting. Its also annoying for us because were the team everyone sits guys against for free wins.
Comes to down to the fact the NBA has too many damn games and everyone makes the playoffs. The owners would never do it but making like a 50 game season where every game matters would be a huge diff maker.

We have no real chance defensively since Duren, Stewart, and Bagley are all hurt. Noel is the only other guy that can play the 5 on the roster and he now has 4 fouls.

Nice effort to make it close... we were just undersized and could have really used one of Stew or Duren tonight.

Once Duren and Stew come back it'll be interesting to see what our rotation looks like.
C: Duren / Noel
PF: Stew / Bey
SF: Bojan / Diallo
SG: Ivey / Livers
PG: Killian / Burks
Seems like CoJo is likely out of the rotation now that Livers is back and Diallo is playing so well. Only other question would be whether Knox or Noel is the backup center I suppose it could depend on the matchup and change game to game.

Not a bad effort against a team that is 3rd in the West (granted they are missing two of their best players, but we're missing 3 out of 5 starters too).
If we made more of our FTs, didn't miss so many bunnies at the rim and not had a couple of bogus ref calls go against us then this would've been a different result.

Combined 3point shooting % of 12% by everyone not named Knox or Hayes (3 for 25).

I'm surprised at how well Killian is playing, because he's blossoming under pressure.
So, so happy he's come around. Something to look forward to.

JV pooped on our lack of bigs, and we couldn’t hit threes. Still close. Quality loss, really.
As irritating and over-the-top the “this win hurts us” talk is, it’s still important to finish bottom three (and pray).
