If ya'll got time, this is an excellent interview. You can tell from the comments that even Isiah detractors picked up some knowledge and gained respect for Zeke after this interview. There are so many misconceptions about this man.

I wish our current roster of players had a tenth of a ounce of Isiahs drive and guts. Guy could score over 20 in a quarter on a bum leg, thread dime feeds and be ready to brawl with a 7 footer in any given game.
Whateva it took to win !

We dont have a single player even close to that Zeke standard.

This was the first gift I remember getting for Christmas as a boy... I seriously wish Casey, Weaver, whoever, would show our team the following three Pistons documentaries (one for each season).... even for inspiration. Losing is one thing, but I don't see much heart outside of Diallo and Stew. Guys who play hard the entire game, which is the job.

I just ran across this.. Never saw it before, but he talks about Rick Mahorn (just beat Philly)... It's really cool as a time capsule, to compare.

Omg, just watched the 2004 one and it was like the back of the neck tingling type pride.

"If ya dont know, ya dont know for reals feels" , its crazy how Motown, the whole state really, just welled with pride over that team and HOW they played. They put that chip on their shoulders and rode it into battle fearlessly. THE RIGHT WAY, NUFF SAID!

The Greatest Piston ever and a top 5 nba player of all-time

These Isiah Thomas videos are changing my life...

I always knew he was pound for pound equal to the best player ever in the NBA, and a great leader.

But I had no idea that listening to him speak would turn into a Masters in Business Administration and Strategy education. I love to hear him clear his name, speak the truth on every issue from his experience.

IT is the goat of all time for his size, and he is a living reminder that marketing campaigns, smear campaigs, and false narratives can only last for a limited time until the facts are told. Facts tell the story!

We need more truth tellers telling their stories in this world!

Wow. Thanks everyone for the memories. It was a magical time in my childhood.

Heck, I remember when the Pistons fought to just get past the first round and past the Hawks. I remember watching the draft when they got Rodman and my father going crazy over Rodman after he was just happy with Salley the round before. I still shoot free throw like Dantley. Always knew who the real Zeke was, just the rest of the world didn't know.
