Dwane Casey on #Suns two-way guard Saben Lee’s return to Detroit: “Saben, he’s an energy bunny. He’s a guy that plays hard. He directs the team. He’s a team-first point guard. First of all, I’m happy for him. I’m happy that he’s found a place. It’s just great for his career.”

Stew has really struggled with his shot recently.

I really don’t understand the need to give Burks so many mins and keeping m Hayes off the wall. I get that we want to develop Ivey and with the season a literal throw away we may as well get him experienced running the point and being more comfortable running an offence but limiting Hayes mins because of that? Hayes should be getting a minimum of 30mpg since Ivey is always going to be playing with one of Cade or Hayes.

3pt %

Nov: 51.7% on 3.6 attempts
Dec: 36.6 on 4.4 attempts
Jan: 11.5% on 2.9 attempts

No clue what is going on. He's shown he's capable of being a good shooter. Those are NOT small sample sizes.

Love how Diallo just went right into the chest of the defender. Completely removed his ability to challenge that shot.

It's very clear that we don't have the personnel on the court to properly handle the CP3 / Ayton pick and roll right now.

CP3 forces Stewart to switch off Ayton on nearly every possession and guys like Bojan or Ivey have no chance defending him in the post.

Easy points for Ayton.

Duren just can't keep getting into foul trouble. We need 2 capable bigs on the court to nullify this.

Nice sequence! Bogey getting crafty with the passing. Duren had a nice dish to Bojan a minute ago as he was falling outa bounds. I do like how unselfish our guys are. Duren in particular seems to do a great job with touch-passes. There have been a number of times where he catches the ball and instantly moves it to a shooter. Like last night when he got that dump off from Ivey but he found Bey in the corner for the go ahead 3. Very unselfish play.

Terrible game for Duren. He's completely outa rhythm.

Chris Paul showing the value of a high IQ vet guard. Honestly Saben Lee is probably super lucky if he gets to stick with Phoenix for the rest of the year and learn from CP3. Might help him stick in this league.

Good thing we decided not to sign Ayton. Duren making him redundant and all.

Did you watch the game or just the stats? Ayton got fed wide open dunks from CP3 all game.

Also Duren is the youngest player ITL. Of course he is going to struggle vs Ayton CP3 pick and roll.

Yeah, this was about CP3. I'd still MUCH rather have Duren on a rookie contract. It's absurdly unfair to compare the youngest player in the league to Ayton, especially after a game like this where CP3 pick n'rolled us to death. Ridiculous comment.

What's ridiculous, is to assert that we don't need Ayton now that we've got Duren. That's just dumb.
