Golden State could still go through with the trade. They have until Saturday to decide. I hated the trade but I think I'd prefer it go through now. Knowing that Weaver wants it is as bad as it happening because if it doesn't happen now, it will probably just come to fruition later anyway. Also, it's not like Bey will suddenly stick to his role as a catch and shoot guy.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

I’m surprised that Golden State could veto the three team trade. Thought it was actually two different trades instead of a four teamer.

I don't want Wiseman, but Saddiq Bey back would be super weird.

Read on Twitter

So how does this work? If GS says they don’t want GP2, the NBA will make the trade un-official??

And I thought the deal was a 3-way with Bey going to ATL, Knox and 5 2nd rounders going to GS, and Wiseman coming here.

Then after, GS expanded it and sent Knox and the picks to Portland for GP2.

Yeah, im unsure how GS deal falling through with Portland has anything to do with Detroit. I'd tell them to kick rocks.

Cut out GS and give us the 5 2nd rounders Atl gave up and I'll be happy with the trade.

It's my understanding that this is a 4-team trade and it's all-or-nothing.

We'll see. It might be too soon.

The timestamp of that tweet is 9:56 pm last night.

Either JE3 got false information, or he jumped the gun, or he just meant that the trade was approved by the league office.

If GS complains to Adam Silver because Portland "lied", there may be other remedies besides rescinding the trade.

Wiseman still comes here, but he has to wear a Bey jersey?

Now THAT would be awkward.

Golden State can take it or leave it. No renegotiation.

Not as awkward as Bey wearing a “Five 2nd rounders” Hawks jersey

I hope it goes through cuz I’ve convinced myself wiseman is good. I don’t even care for Bey anymore. It’ll be ugly if he comes back. I’d sit out if I were him but then he’s due for a contract

I can’t see the warriors not letting this deal go through. I thought I read somewhere Wiseman was gonna cost them 131m for the next 2 years.
