The NBA’s youngest player makes the game look easy, and it’s why coach Dwane Casey is making a point to be a tough critic. When asked about Duren’s improving footwork last week, Casey noted he wants to see the 19-year-old run the floor harder. After Duren’s double-double against the Nuggets, Casey acknowledged Duren’s energy off the bench but saw room for improvement. “He can be better,” Casey said Thursday. “I’m going to keep pushing, because he can be better. With two bigs in there, we got outrebounded tonight 47-37. That’s why they’re there.”

Any particular reason Duren only played 9 minutes?

Apparently he banged heads with Kevin Love in the 3rd quarter and felt woozy?

No idea why he only played 9 minutes up to that point though.

Wiseman played well offensively, his post defense not great though.

Killian put in good work as well, his PG skills are up there, just needs to bring up his offensive game to an acceptable level.

As a Warriors fan please tell me Wiseman and Bagley starting over Duren is purely Vic related.

Late season trials, and Duren hasn't been healthy.

If Cade comes back and continues where he left off at the end of last season, we win games like these.

Cade
Ivey
Duren
Wiseman
Bagley
Stewart
Top 5 pick
Bojan
Cap space

That’s a great collection of assets, albeit heavy on bigs. Weaver has got to make some moves this year. After the next season Cade is up for an extension. This it for Troy. Let’s see what he does.

Considering the Pistons had John Henson and Brandon Knight in their starting lineup as recently as 3 years ago, Weaver has done a pretty good job turning the roster over and accumulating assets - even if I don't agree with every step he has taken to get there. I would agree we need to start seeing some tangible improvement next season, though.

Butler's fault, watching the replay. Hopefully, Duren is ok.

Ivey still doesn't get it.. Jaden Jumpin Jackass on every play.. He's so bad on defense. On offense, he jumps and then passes, and then screams with his hands ready like he's Ray Allen. And when he wouldn't get the ball, he'd jump up and down losing his ****. Especially in the 4th.

If this is true, this is what I was scared of about ivey. Wonder how he handles his emotions if/when they start winning. I get right now just end of season and we suck, but still he needs to stop that type of stuff imo

It was McGruder's fault if anybody, Love got Duren up in the air and McGruder undercut Duren going for the rebound, it was a hard hit for sure, surprised Duren didn't lose some teath on that one, it was a stiff uppercat to the jaw, if you saw it you would know it was bad, probably a TKO, I was surprised Duren stayed upright as long as he did.
