Kudos to Bruce Brown

I wanted to keep him. Kudos for working hard and staying committed. You're a champion which a lot of the anointed superstars don't get to achieve.

F Reggie Jackson tho

KCP left a sour taste in my mouth. Really wish he'd got stuck after doing a Schröder on our contract offer.

Why the Reggie hate? Didn't we just let him go?
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Reggie got a big deal and never lived up to it. Same reason people don't like Ben Gordon, Charlie V, Drummond, Josh Smith, etc.

Not his fault Dumars gave him a big pay day, but honestly his best stretch with us might have been shortly after the trade and before he got paid by Detroit.

He fake an injury and stole money...I believe he hated SVG!

Wasn't Dumars. It was SVG.

I’m the most happy for Brown cause he’s gonna get a payday. Then u got Reggie, his backup Ish Smith. KCP and Bruce both proved to be winners.

The list of good players the pistons got rid of is long enough to have been a playoff team if they just knew what they had and could develop them.

This fanbase hates talented players and loves Johnny Try-Hards.

Lol no he didn't, the guy carried that team to the 8th seed but after that season couldn't stay healthy. Jackson was ridiculously clutch for us that year he won us a lot of games we shouldn't have.

I was pretty puzzled when we traded Bruce Brown for peanuts, I'm still pretty puzzled. Troy got rid of a solid player for no good reason.

KCP, Bruce, Reggie, and Ish were all professionals playing for a mediocre franchise. I’m glad they got a title. I would’ve left for LA too if I was KCP lol

Always been a fan of Bruce Brown. Ish is a very likable guy, and easy to root for. Reggie was a bit of a roller coaster ride for me personally. I was never a KCP guy.

Bruce Brown was traded for a 2nd round pick Euro that never played, so we could give 3 years to Killian Hayes to "develop".

Swing and a miss.

Can't just hold on to everyone until they hit their prime. Happens all the time and players eventually take off in the right circumstances.

Same, plus the ability to play in LA and next to Lebron while also being paid enough? There's almost zero downsides

I was really happy for Bruce.... KCP, too. And Ish was one of the veterans every team needs.

Damn KCP has 2 rings we don't even have a playoff win. He bet on himself and won.

Playing with superstars that know how to pass is a good career move.
