Expiring OG is not worth #5. It's OG++ for #5 and Bagley.

Grant only got us raw cap space and a terrible 1st fwiw when he was 6 months away from being an expiring.

What if the rumored Bojan for #10 happened. Keep our #5 and trade #10 for OG? Then again, why wouldn't Dallas just trade for OG then

Sort of lost interest in this idea. Let's bring in one more lottery pick, play free agency and work the trade route.

Yay as long as there’s an extension mysteriously agreed to that just so happens to happen soon after the trade is done.

That and Bagley becomes a Raptor. He’s good at stuff and available for a good 45-50 games per season. That could really help the Raptors

If we had Cam Johnson signed or Jerami grant signed would you trade #5 and that player for OG? I wouldn’t

Can’t give up assets for OG if he’s not extended.

I asolutely would do a deal with O.G. and #5 as the centerpiece. What pieces are added to even it out (send out Bagley, get their 1st in return, etc) could be worked out.

Talks definitely start with the #13 coming back but even then IDK.

If we want OG then sign him to a big deal next off-season

He’s worth trading down to 13 for if he signs and extension it’s worth it because he’s still 26 and entering his prime so that’s a big addition. At that point Stewart actually fits OG as OG becomes the glue guy defensively. Could easily start Bogan next to OG so it would resolve our defense issues and spacing. OG still hasn’t peaked and only entering his prime, he’s worth trading down to 13 specially if we can dump bagley to Toronto.

5, Bagley
For
OG 13

Highly doubt it happens. Might cost us the 31st pick which is worth it in this case as OG addresses a lot of our problems.

It's never a good idea to trade for a soon to be FA and give up good draft assets to get that player.

He could very easily just leave for nothing. Portland could get burned on Jerami Grant and they barely gave up anything for him. We've seen it happen too many times before. OG could very easily get a 4 year $160 million offer from a team next summer.

I'd love to make a move for him but he would have to commit to a contract. No way he stays with us if he can hit the open market esp if we cant pay him the most.

No interest in 5 for OG. If the want Wiseman/Hayes/BB for him, I’d be down for the deal.

I'm only giving up 5 if he's agreed to sign a extension with us.

He fits but

We just have to wait a year and sign him next summer without giving up any assets.

The next question is what does that contract look like as we are trying to outbid several other teams.
