The Summer league schedule was released today. The Thompson twins will be playing each other. When asked how he felt about it, Ausar started trash-talking Amen, who was in the audience. Kinda cool.

Yeah, enjoyed that.

Why wasn’t Amen at something similar in Houston?

Who knows.

Nice that RJ Hampton contacted both Ausar & Sasser prior to the presser.

Unfortunately for RJ he might not get to play with them for long.

Defense.... Defense.... Defense.... We were dead last last year and Weaver really stressed that these guys and coach are going to help change that. It'll be interesting to see if we're able to move closer to being middle of the road rather than bottom of the barrel when it comes to D next year.

Ausar seems like a nice kid, but he seemed kind of uncomfortable/awkward answering questions. Probably just something he needs to get used to. I mean Troy Weaver stinks at answering questions too so its not a big deal :D

As an AV professional, I still cannot believe how amateur the setup is, and would fire everyone involved. Horrendous.

I thought the same during Williams introductory presser. Looked like they finished at the practice gym then rolled in a bunch of rental chairs and brought the media in.

Pistons don't care, the local media is bought and paid for, and nationally nobody cares about the Pistons.

What's blowing my mind is that they are somewhat properly mic'ed, but the levels are brutal. You know what solves this problem? A few hundred bucks on lavs, and a proper audio tech for a few hours to live monitor levels.

Also, a simple boom mic(s) would cover the press so hearing the question someone is responding to would be easier. That eliminates the need to pass around a mic to each person asking a question.

Billion dollar company, 10cent production.
