To me looks weird, but sure it could’ve been worse

We consistently have the worst jerseys in basketball.

I dug the St. Cecilia's inspired green ones last season. One of the best in the league I think last year. Even if not a Detroit Piston color.

I'd have the letters just plain white without any trim - anti "flash" if you will, what the Bad Boys were. Or out of the box a bit - silver letters as the hat tip to the LA Raiders Black and Silver, given that was sort of the inspiration for the Bad Boys embrace.

Looking at the "2" in the CD detailing, I think that is silver lined in white. Maybe that is what the lettering on the jerseys will be...

So these Jerseys are reversing the fonts and colors from this iconic shirt/logo -

Detroit in the writing font and the numbers in the block silver with white lining.

I wonder if we will get the skull and crossbones as a secondary or hidden logo with the red piping on the jerseys to have the basketball in red rather than the orange.

I actually liked them too, and I’m a fan of the teal (sorry boomers).
But these are awful. I’d rather go all in on a bad boys tribute jersey rather than this one fit in, one foot out style they’re going with

Comparing the "red" in the CD logo to the red in the nba logo, I think now the "red" piping is actually orange.

it's a full on black, silver, white and orange homage to the iconic Bad Boys t-shirt from the era.

Hate all these jerseys, and it makes the teams lose their identities.

Only homage to the Bad Boys I want to see is Jason Tatum flying through the air, after a clothesline from Ausar Thompson.

Would be sweet if they add in some cross bones lol

There isn't enough of a connection. It's primarily the font and Chuck Daly in small stitch.

If you aren't intimately familiar with the Bad Boys logo then you won't get it.

All this being said, I would love it if the Pistons had a very limited Halloween edition jersey they wore in late October where they just ditched all pretense had the entire Bad Boys Logo above...

I didn’t realize that the Pistons were hurting so much financially that they needed to make more alternate jerseys. I get the thought behind it but it feels more like a cash grab to me.

Honestly just bring back the teal horse logo design with our current colors and we instantly have the best jerseys in the league
