No way I'd do it with Wiseman. I'm not a believer.
And some others, including ex-Pistons Bey

Being the Detroit Pistons , unfortunately, comes with a lot of negatives. If we just allowed him yo go to restricted free agency he's gonna probably move on from us.
We overpay our home grown drafted guys or they bail on us. And then we fill in the holes with cheap vet deals and can't reach the salary floor.
Just look at this past summer as an example
We took on Joe Harris who is pretty useless in order to reach that floor basically. Nob9dy wanted to come here, especially with us being so bad. Weaver is giving us a shot, our only shot really, to trade from somebody. That's our only realist shot at getting a good player here. Overpaying our draft picks and trading for established player on long term deal.

If he doesn't take a leap imo it's a bad contract. Low volume 3pt shooter and overall is a negative offensive player.Snakebites wrote:Billl wrote:Wow - jaden mcdaniels 5 years 136 million?
A very valuable skill set.
We need to be prepared to see bigger numbers than we’re used to. That’s the way the wind is blowing.

A solid starter is close to $20 million per range. He does fill the three and D role nicely but as others have mentioned he doesn't really have an offensive bag or ability to create his own.... but defending and spacing the floor is very valuable to good teams.
