Which young Piston will take the biggest step forward this season?

This isn't a question who will be the best player of the group, but who do you expect to take the biggest step/jump forward from what we saw of them last season compared to what they produce for us this season.

We really need 1 or more guys to take a significant step forward. I'll take anybody at this point. If I had to guess, I'd go with Cade just because I think there is potential for the 3 ball to start dropping and really open things up for him.

I’m most confident in Cade making that leap but would not be surprised to see bigger growth and league wide recognition from Duren. Summer league and preseason stats don’t really support what I’m saying right now but I think his playmaking/assist #s take off with how they’ve been using him thus far.

Before the season I would've picked Ivey but see that he probably isn't going to start I have no clue.

1- voted Cade. I think he has the potential to be a quiet alpha player.

2- Duren would be my 2nd choice.

Hayes needs it to be a key bench player

Wiseman I just want to see make some progress, but I just don’t see it. He seems like the guy teams will try to figure out, for a year or two at a time, before he’s out of the NBA

Both Jalen and Cade look like they are tracking towards AllStar level careers, the picking one or the others progression rate 3 games in is an exercise in hair splitting for me.
My answer is "both of em", which wasnt an option.

Definitely prisoner of the moment, but Duren's looking incredible. The two man game with him and Cade is advertised so far. Really loving this team as a whole right now.

Something I noticed about Duren in the Bulls game - his free throw shot is looking really smooth (he didn't miss one). That's often a key indicator scouts use to project shooting as a whole. It makes me wonder how much he can expand his range in the future. He's already doing incredible stuff as a ball handler and playmaker in addition to all the rebounding, highlight dunk, etc. stuff.

It is hilarious though. Exciting times for sure. We look so good!
I had 2 buddies I hadn't talked to in awhile texting me about how good they looked. Brought back the goin2work vibes

Solid role player, but at 23 the upside is minimal.

If he ends up being the closest thing we have to a breakout player something has gone terribly wrong.

Which…looks possible at the moment. Still early…still early…

That is what they said about Rodman.

And he was a unique player type in a different era of scouting.

I hope I’m wrong and he becomes more than he is.

If Sasser plays like our PG of the future, I'll be happy. I keep hoping all the burn we're getting for Killian is just about trading him when he's on a good run.

Hopefully all that burn for trade value doesn’t burn a bridge with Ivey. I feel like Ivey has so much potential. Hopefully Monty and Weaver know what they are doing with his development.
