I can't help but get my hopes up.

Losing to Miami didn't feel bad at all. Losing tonight will be a let down for sure even if its a close hard fought game.... not that we've earned the right to feel we are better than anyone else...

I feel cautiously optimistic that we got this game. Let's goooo

Ausar starts the game with an impressive help side block and then saves it from going out of bounds. Impressive work from a young player in his 2nd NBA game.

Killian too aggressive on defense (like to see it most of the time) after already having a foul. On the bright side we get some better spacing with the starters 4 minutes into the game.

Too many TOs again to start this one.

So many TOs, that's so bad.

Ausar and Duren are so aggressive on those boards I have a hard time seeing Stewart averaging 8+ rebounds this year even though he did the past few seasons. Ausar keeps flying in for rebounds reminds you somewhat of Westbrook doing it from the guard spot.

Duren with 5 boards and 1 block arlread, Ausar with 4 boards and 1 block. We just need to stop with those terrible TOs.

Defensive effort is intense. Stew picked up a guard and forced a sloppy pass out after stopping penetration which led to the Burks steal and a Cade layup.

Duren keeps slamming those boards and Ausar gets a triple off the board work.

We've out rebounded them 15-5 in the first 8 minutes of the game and Mark Williams is a big guy out there.

The defense is even more insane than it was against Miami. I'm loving it. If we play this kind of defense all season, I'll complain a lot less, even if we lose games.

3 TOs in 9 minutes is not acceptable tho, even for a rookie. Ausar need to fix that. I'm ok with him missing his shots, but the TOs are bad.

The Hornets had the 13th and 15th picks in the draft 15 months ago and they wanted Mark Williams not Duren and hopefully Duren takes that personal tonight.

I wonder who we'll get in the first round of the playoffs.

2nd unit doesn't have the same defensive intensity at all. I wonder if we eventually move Stew to that 2nd unit to give each unit some balance of rebounding/defense.
