Bulls fire sale is going to happen soon. Should we be buyers?

Lavine
DeMar
Caruso
Vucevic

I'm guessing they are going to want expirings, picks, younger talent/prospects, and I also think they keep Patrick Williams, Dosunmu and Coby White and see how they do in bigger offensive roles.

Some day we will spend a bunch of money for a AllStar. LaVine qualifies. But we don’t get multiple tries. Is this the answer?

No. Caruso would be nice, but he's going to a contender, the other players are terrible and don't fit what Monty is trying to do.

Lavine is empty stats. He doesn't help his teammates be better. He doesn't play defense. The Bulls are a treadmill team for a reason.

Do. Not. Want.

They are blowing it up because they think that core is too old to build around.

I'd take the one year rental on DeMar, but I doubt he wants to go to another rebuilding team at this stage in his career.

I love Lavine, when he plays. I can envision
Cade-PG Lavine-SG Ausar-SF Stew-PF Duren-C
Bench;Ivey-PG/SG Bojan-SF/PF Bagley-C
With Monte Morris and Burks getting minutes sprinkled in.
Sure would be nice to see someone actually score like a beast like Lavine can do

Id probably trade Ivey for Lavine. Hes a much better fit and we already have enough youth.

LaVine is 28 and will be 29 later this season... didn't realize that.... In theory, LaVine is kind of what you hope Ivey can work himself into as a player in a few years from now.... elite athlete who can score in bunches when he gets it going.

We’re not in a buying position. We’re worse than them. Not sure what they have I’d even want. Caruso I guess.

Clearly this isn't the case; at least with our current coaching staff. We're actually trying to ensure that Ivey is more of a complete player.

One of our guys actually has to turn into a good player first before we start trading assets for Allstars.

Hahaha. No. Hell no. Not the Pistons, not any of those guys, not now. Just no.

Outside of Ivey, Pistons don't have any trade bait, not without being able to include draft picks. And thank goodness. I don't want Lavine. I think highly of the other two, but can't see them coming here on a rebuild.

Siakam just seems like a Weaver move waiting to happen, trade or free agency.

Meh, no thanks. Like others have said, we’re not in the position to be “buyers” atm.

Maybe if we can add Pat Williams for cheap, I’d consider that….but that’s about it

We're in zero position to be any sort of buyers with our pitiful record and not elite talent

They honestly made no sense as a team with Demar and Lavine. It always should've been one or the other but they insisted on making it work to no avail

Can Troy Weaver trade himself for an expiring contract?

James Wiseman for Patrick Williams in a double “change of scenery” trade. Beyond that, no. We’re in no position to be buyers at this point

Williams would be interesting to develop defensively with Ausar and Duren, but I don't know if we can take any more guys who's shooting is a work in progress
