Cade is out, again for tonight's game. Monte Morris is still unavailable (shocking) and Bojan is questionable.

The first of 6 home games in a row... our longest home stretch all year. We'll get beat by the Wolves tonight and then the Bucks on the 20th and then I think we'll bring back Cade for the 2nd Bucks game. This is a home stretch where 2-4 should be very possible but we need another player or two healthy to get those two wins.

Wolves 17th
Bucks 20th
Bucks 22nd
Hornets 24th
Wizards 27th
Thunder 28th

Bally blows. It's bad enough to follow this team, now we have a god-awful app to go along with it.

Now back to the game...
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Reportedly the TWolves ownership group (newer group with ARod not big time Billionaires like some owners) don't want to pay the luxury tax and they have big extensions for Towns and Anthony Edwards starting next year in addition to the Max Gobert makes.

Makes you wonder if they will look to move on from Towns who makes $50, $54, $58, $62(PO) the next four years. He's younger and more efficient than LaVine but he's another guy who doesn't play defense.

This is not necessarily true. KAT has been playing good defense...this season has been his best season defensively so far his career. He is a poor defender if you play him as a 5 with drop coverage scheme but as a 4, he has been playing pretty solid defense. He does better job against likes of Jokic than other defenders on the team, even Gobert included.

Last season was the only one where I'd say he missed majority of season due to on-court injury (only played 30 games). He only missed 5 games in first 4 seasons. In 19-20 season, he had a random off-court injury...he still could have played few more games but Wolves wanted to tank, so didn't wanna risk it & then ssn ended early due to Covid. 20-21 and last season are the only 2 seasons where he missed significant chunk of games. So far this season, he only missed 1 game.

Games are switching to Amazon Prime on the backend (just announced this morning.) Probably not until baseball season though, I'd guess.

I expect Cade to be out longer. It seems like every single player that gets injured here stays out longer than the original projected time.

Until Cade returns, I'm still not watching a minute of this. The game tonight will be a complete waste of time for anybody dedicated enough to watch it.

The product without Cade, Bojan, is so bad, it's almost unreal. I do wonder how the new/old guys will look, but they may not even play.

At this exact moment, this is, without question, the worst Pistons team of all-time.

Pistons up 20-19 after 6 minutes of game play really solid offense for Detroit against a good defense.

It'll be interesting to see if Wiseman is still in the rotation or if we'll try a new guy.
