I wonder if there are any more trades. Who knows who plays tonight! Maybe that's why Cade had yesterday off, since we might need him tonight, back-to-back, but less players possibly.

Winnable game, but also a back to back on the road.
Not a long flight from Sacto to Portland, but still.

we shot 22/22 from the FT last game. Contagious play on both ends. We have a lot of young guys, and think we can win this.

blazers are 5-5 in their last 10 games and they look to be mostly healthy - sharpe is out and scoot and ayton are questionable.
i'm torn between wanting to see cade play and the team shutting him down until the all star break (next 4 games). that would give him 2 weeks to get his knee right.

How many active players will we have tonight?

10 at most... That depends on Cade and also depends who we end up waiving to get down to 15 players.
C: Duren / Wiseman
F: Musc / Dano
F: Ausar / Joe Harris
G: Ivey / Sasser
G: Cade / Killian
We of course could always call up a two-way player from the Cruise.

Hope for a win, but this game is just filler, until all the trades are completed, and all the new players can suit up.
Probably gonna be a few games, or after the all-star break.

Cade out and at least one of those 10 has to be waived for the other trades to be validated.

They probably had a good idea that this would happen so maybe the wheels have been in motion?

We traded 2 great shooters for bull. Typical Weaver. Maybe he wants to top Presti with 2nd rounders instead?

I think he’s gambling that some of the players that were acquired can be the shooters that we need.
They’re younger players, under team control, don’t affect the salary cap and don’t make a ton of money.
Add that with replenishing a stock of seconds and I see the moves so far as a win.

Typical Josh Smith type of move. They didn't even need him for tonight's game!

I think Ivey run point and see if that speeds up Cades game. I think they’re heading the right way, just no injuries

I see it as a massive win that Weaver didn't go for another Bagley/Wiseman type of reclamation project and instead just went flat out on guard/forward young guys
No more Kelly Olynyks, Plumlees, Noels, Lyles etc. Just young G/F types that can show something

I wonder why Gallo isn’t with the team after playing last night.
