Pistons org is a complete joke! You have a cocaine sniffing owner who's scared to visit detroit. A gm who don't know what the hell he's doing and a HC who only took the job because he would have been a complete idiot had he not done so.

Sounds quite a bit different than he does at press conferences

As brutal as this season has been, I'm surprised Weaver isn't watching from home or from a suite. Joe D was always watching from above.

That's the response of a man who is not at all concerned about his job security, which is distressing. Of course, Weaver should have been fired back in November/December so I guess he feels invincible at this point.

Wonder what the fan originally said to him.

I'm not really about heckling these guys in public spaces. Troy Weaver's consequences for being bad at his job should be professional ones, not personal ones.

Gores should use this to fire Weaver to gain the respect of the fans.

Weavers the one that shouldve been tied, cuffed, shackled and chain-dragged from the premises. Leave the truth to power fan alone.

Weaver- Their record is 70-229 under him in three-plus seasons.

Of course it all depends on what the fan said or how relentless he was being but WTF does Weaver expect sitting out in the open among the fans of a 10 win team? Seriously, read the room Troy.

The fan had been pestering Weaver in the build-up to what was captured on the video, according to sources briefed on the exchange. Weaver ignored the fan’s first pass and then, on the second one, said something along the lines of, “I don’t come to your work and harass you,” the sources said. The moment captured on video showed the fan’s third time provoking Weaver.

Let's be real, I'm sure he's been hearing it all year, so this dude must have said some truly heinous nonsense or was at least being so overly obnoxious and ruining the game for everyone around him to get Troy to finally go off.

Good argument to be made that Weaver deserves to be fired for what he's done with the team, but this stuff is just embarrassing for us as fans, NGL. I never understand what these people think they're accomplishing. Maybe he was trying to lure Weaver into a Ron Artest moment? lol

First time I've heard Weaver not 'um and ah' his way through a sentence

Can we just get rid of this guy already

How long has Weaver been the GM? 3-4 years? At some point he needs to be judged by the lack of results. He drafted, traded for, and signed all these guys...You don't get to draft busts, overpay role players (then trade them with picks attached), and not hit on your reclamation projects and still keep your job.
