We might win single digit games if that's the roster.

I think Hardaway starts next to Cade and then Cade and Hardaway are staggered next to Ivey. Unless Ivey gets moved for Ingram. If Ivey's still here, I think we should trade Sasser. If our top three guards play no defense, we need someone with size in that fourth spot.

Just need to trade for Ben Simmons and pick up 4 seconds along with him in order to have him start at PF for us.

THJ's dad is going to be heard screaming from the stands if he isn't getting 35 minutes and going 6-for-21 every night.

We need veterans (not geezers, although a few tough ones could be useful) who can play on both ends with a tough attitude and good teammates. The young guys can't grow until they play with guys who know how to win. On the court and off.

He used to be our assistant coach under SVG.

We should just let him coach his son in a contract year.

What could go wrong?

Hardaway's not starting. He does nothing for Cade. He doesn't handle the ball, he doesn't create, he doesn't defend. He chucks. That's it. And not at nearly a high enough rate for anyone to worry about him.

So basically 32-year-old Ivey? Since that’s all Ivey does when he plays alongside Cade

Right, but at least Ivey can get to the rim.

Since we got a bunch of seconds in the THJ deal, we can repute those picks to the Nets. Weaver/TJ logic.

THJ is the starting two and either Stewart (4 verse big lineups) or Ansur (Ansur at 4 and Holland starting three verse small startin* fives). No starting 4 in FA.

he put up the 5th-most 3's per minute in the league last season... he definitely chucks enough for people to worry about him.

I'll take a stab at a roster outline

Starters:

Cade
Free Agent/Trade
Holland or Ausar (camp battle)
Fontecchio
Duren

Primary Bench:

Ivey (or Sasser)
THJ
Holland or Ausar
Stewart
Jeff Van Gundy on his brother's Pistons: 'He took over the Titanic and it's sinking even quicker'
