Thankfully it's just a two-year deal. Right?

Damn it.

As expected. I'm actually pleased with that contract. He's a good short-term asset.

Welp, there it is. The ghost of Weaver haunts us.

At least its two years.

Cade
Ivey
Ausar
Harris
Duren

???

*edit*

Maybe to maximize spacing;

Cade
Ivey
Harris
Tek
Stewart

I could live with that.

That's fairly cheap all things considered, I'm cool with it.

This is the surest sign yet that the Pistons aren't interested in competing for the next couple of years. Which is a good thing long-term, but I would have enjoyed cheering for a play-in team after five-plus years in the tank.

At least we all know that there is a clear direction, and Langdon hasn't signed 4 centers.

Its the two years that makes this palatable. Lineup flexibility is key. JB can now surround Cade with a complete shooter lineup.

Odd take for a "help me now" signing.

That better be a 1+1 TO or I’m going to be pissed

Welcome back Tobias. Nice to have an NBA level starting forward again.

Not the worst thing but this was expected given where we're at and needing vets that can score a bit. We were always going to sign someone, so I'm just glad it's two years

But please JB, do not play both Stew and Duren together and actually provide frontcourt space for our guards. Bench either one, it's fine

It could be a tryout signing, to see how a player like Harris will work with Cade, amd the younger group.

2 years is great. I was fearing some insane 3, or even 4 year deal.

I wish we could have gotten a third year team option.

Not a bad deal.

Far from the scary numbers that were thrown around.

Fills some needs and is a good locker room guy.

Hopefully he’s this eras Cliff Robinson.

Tobias Harris ain't helping nobody now. He is bad. We will be bad.

How is this ghost of weaver? It’s a two year deal and he’s taking a significant pay cut.

No options per JEIII - straight 2-year deal.

Ho-hum addition. Takes us from being worst team in league to maybe 5th worst??

Well we will be bad, but Tobias should actually help us on the court this season.

Why though? It’ll be a very trade-able contract in the off-season or at the next deadline.

Please let this mean Stewart is moving to center!

Two years is okay, but who exactly were we bidding against? The way some of these signings were going, I would have thought he would be more like $15m per

Almost would rather tank for Flagg…but we’ve all seen how being the worst team in the league never gets us even a top-3 pick….
