Holland may have extra motivation going up against former teammate Buzelis.

I’m most worried about his thumb!

Pretty sure he took the day off yesterday just to nonstop play the new NCAA Football game.

Buzelis already making Holland look bad. If we get embarrassed here it's going to be very silly, we could've easily taken Buzelis like every mock had us doing lol

People need to mentally prepare themselves for the fact that Holland is not going to play a lot this year and guys drafted behind him are going to. That says nothing about their long-term careers. Ron is a project. One of the youngest players in the draft.

Go and check who got ROY votes over the likes of Jaylen Brown or Jimmy Butler. Did Boston "look bad" for drafting Jaylen Brown over Marquese Chriss?

This stuff is totally inconsequential in the long run and we won't have a clear idea if Trajan got the pick right for YEARS unless maybe he comes out looking like Anthony Bennett.

People should recall that Jalen Green looked quite a lot better than Cade in their summer league games.

Can we just enjoy summer league games without overreacting to Player A's performance versus Player B? I've said it before, summer league is for an initial look at players and for players to get a first taste of the league. It's really not meant to determine who was the better draft pick or who will likely have the better career.

We can not enjoy them. No chill. Holland not playing yesterday pretty much means the new regime should be fired and Cade should be traded. Maybe even Franchise relocation.

I've lived through a ton of **** piston draft picks, projects that go no where, etc. This franchise has demonstrated no competency in developing prospects. They're hiding Ron to protect his ego in these meaningless games for a reason. Doing well in SL doesn't mean you'll do well in the NBA. Doing poorly in the SL definitively means you cannot play in the NBA, at least currently. Watching this team be the worst team in the league again with a **** draft pick that can't even get play time on his own roster, with similar talent also trying to develop, is asinine.

IF you look at the last 10-15 years of lottery picks, a majority of them are busts, and not just picks by Detroit

Not saying Holland is, but I never like wasting a year for a bust.

lol no it does not. I'm really not sure how many times this can be explained. Scottie Barnes was totally underwhelming as a rookie in summer league. Under 10ppg. He won ROY. Jaylen Brown shot 32% in summer league. Is he any good?

Re: Development. It's a totally different front office and coaching staff. Who Joe Dumars and Larry Brown couldn't develop has no relation to Langdon and JB.

Re: "Hiding Holland". He clearly didn't play in the back-to-back because he's not in game shape due to not playing in 5+ months. Was San Antonio "hiding" Wemby last year when they played him 2 summer league games? Orlando played Paolo 2 games. Pistons played Cade 3 games. Ridiculous notion.

Not true. Don't know where you're getting that. Barnes was impressive overall in his summer league. Played 4 games, had only one under 10 points. Averaged 15.5 & 8. Had an 18/10/5 double-double in game one. Scored 23 in game 4. Was good defensively throughout. Raps fans hated the Barnes pick. Had to be talked off the ledge when he was taken over Suggs. Summer league calmed them down a little bit.
