Next game against the Heat

I’m cautiously optimistic after the comeback against Boston. Sure there are no moral victories but that looked like a sign of a real team.

Probably against Philly if Embiid and George are still out.

The Heat will go down.

IF Miami was at Home I'd like our chances but not on the road. They are too well coached and guys know their roles. Even short handed they will out-execute us in the 4th. I'd hope we can maybe steal one in BKN, but if there was no end in sight I wouldn't exactly be shocked.

Can you even name their best player?

I went with Brooklyn. I think Miami is going to roll us rather easily. Plus Brooklyn might recognize the value of losing these head to head meetings between the tankers….

Can you even name their best player?

Any early season road win will be a steal. This is a very young team with a lot of new pieces and an entirely new offensive/defensive scheme. There is very little continuity and it shows with how frequently we cough up the ball. We struggle mightily with 4th Q execution but have seen Bickerstaff allow guys to play through some of those early season mistakes, so we know it's as much about the process as the individual game result. He's taking the long view. And if we happen to improve our chances at Flagg along the way, well, that just sorta happened on it's own.

Early season is going to be tough. That's not a commentary on how the season will play out, but an ugly start should be expected.

We haven't proven anything yet. We are 0-3 and the Brooklyn game is on the road.

I totally agree with the growing pains that our squad will experience.

I guess I’m just more down on the Nets than I am concerned about the Pistons issues.

I guess I should temper my expectations based on our 3 losses but with the consistent fight and improved shooting, I like our chances against a Nets team without any identity or elite talent.

I get where you are coming from and agree it's our most winnable. Game. Fingers crossed.

I think it's quite possible that they lose all these games and stretch it out to like 0-10 or something like that unless a team takes them lightly. This is quite possibly the least clutch team in the league with one of the worst "best" players in the league. They could beat the Nets but road games are always tough.

The Nets, with their stinky roster, beat the Bucks by double digits yesterday. I’m pretty sure they’ll be favored at home against the Pistons

This sounds about right, but on the other hand anybody can beat anybody on any given night in the Association. As they say, that's why they play the games.
