Pistons got zero shot at this game. Look forward to the next one against the craptors.
They got beat up last night, and I have serious doubts if Tony hawk is gonna play(meaning more Holland)and Ivey might not after twisting his ankle.
Gonna be ugly. The only hope, is that the Bucks also played last night. Glimmer, but the headwinds are extreme.

The Bucks have also been straight up bad this season. So that's a consideration.

You do know that the Bucks are terrible this season, right?
Not saying that the Bucks shouldn't be favored but this isn't the championship level Bucks anymore.

Bucks are favored by 5.5 I think we'll keep it close with them. Dame was out last night due to a concussion.

This is our chance to take the energy from that slim win and beat a struggling team.. Back-to-back, but we're one of the youngest teams.
Is Ausar gonna play? He is only listed as OUT for the Miami game.. We will need him with THJ out. It would be perfect - he has a great game, shuts down Giannis

This is the first time in a long time where I have no issue with a coach's rotation. I haven't even said "Trade ______" yet, but we do need a backup pg.. Someone mentioned Chris Paul, but I'm 99% sure Chris Paul was signed by the Spurs to help Wemby, do as best as he can, and then trade him to a contending (ot at least a playoff team) unless the Spurs were to be good/great (no chance). Even Monte Morris did something similar.. Phoenix went and got the 2 best AST/TO ratio guys in 40 years and they start great, but then KD goes down.
I know it's obvious we need/ed a backup pg, but free agents probably have us on the bottom, which is why we get guys like Harris or Harris (but at least Tobias can play). Even when we were contenders and champs, we didn't get guys lined up to sign with us for the minimum ala the Lakers team we beat with Malone, Payton, etc.

I am taking absolutely nothing for granted with the Pistons anymore.
Sucked for way, way to long to start picking them to win, on the road. Winning is a process, and this team has barely started.
I'd also note that even though the record doesn't reflect it, this Bucks team has a ton of experience, and against young teams, thats a tall task. Heat game last night is a perfect example of this. Pistons won because of a brain fart by Spo.

We were literally falling all over ourselves in every way possible to lose last night's game. It took a miraculously bad action from the best coach in the nba to save us.
The 3-8 Bucks currently have 2 losses to the 12-0 Cavs, 2 losses to 9-3 Celtics, 1 loss to the Knicks, 1 loss to the Grizzlies and a loss to the Nets who are doing surprisingly better than I would have thought. Their one bad loss is against the Bulls.
I hate Doc Rivers and think he's a bad coach but I don't think this Bucks team is as bad as everyone is saying. Or at least I don't think we can say that quite yet.

Surprisingly Cade isn’t on the injury report at all despite having back spasms last night.
Ivey, THJ, fontecchio and Ausar are out tonight. My guess is Beasley, holland and Harris play more minutes while sasser slides into the rotation. Beasley and holland probably start?

I wonder if we will get some Stewart at PF alongside Duren in this one. Stewart matches up ok with Giannis compared to some of our other forwards. I think sliding Harris to SF with both THJr and Font out makes the most sense considering Milwaukee has a bigger front court than most.
C: Duren(35) / Stew(13)
F: Stew(22) / BBall Paul(26)
G: Harris(35) / Holland(13)
G: Beasley(35) / Holland(13)
G: Cade(35) / Sasser(13)

Damn, I hope the game isn't so ugly, but hopefully Holland can play without getting into foul trouble.

I saw that Dame is out tonight - that makes a real difference. I still think the biggest defensive downfall they have is guarding quick ones.
I like the idea of starting Stew at the four for the Giannis matchup. That allows B Ball Paul to get some extra minutes off that deep bench tonight. It sure looks like a slugfest to me, so bring out the sluggers.
The Bucks have been playing better recently after an ugly, ugly start. I don't think the Pistons get this one without Ivey or Hardaway.

Wow. Didn't realize Tech was out too. I do like the idea of starting Beef at PF for this game, with Reed as bench center.
This game could get ugly.
Assuming no Ivey, THJ, Tech or Ausar.. Today i would go with this rotation:
Starters:
1 Cade
2 Beasley
3 harris
4 Beef
5 Durren
Bench players to use
Sasser 1 and 2 spot
Holland 2 and 3 spot maybe some small ball 4
B Ball Paul 4 and 5 spot
I could also see Wendel Moore getting a little run in the 1 to 3 spot. Honestly if Klintman wasn't somehow still hurt, id maybe consider him too. Slim pickings tonight

Ivey out is tough, he's the one guy that could've put constant pressure on Lopez and their defense

Tough game to do this, but part of what we need to figure out is how we can matchup against bigger frontlines. Duren in particular struggled against bigger bodies. But he's got another year of experience under his belt, we have better spacing and what seems like a better defensive plan. And can he attack them at the other end? I kinda want him to show me something tonight.

Defense to offense. Ron Holland downhill

Overall he's been mediocre but I think Beasley might be the most cold blooded guy on our roster.
