FSN

We are 2-0 in this Emirates Cup. I know it's not a real championship, but young guys need all the confidence they can get.

Tobias and Cade are questionable. Cade was upgraded since last game and wanted to post this, despite the game being on tomorrow night. It's very difficult to watch without Cade, and even Tobias, despite his struggles.

They both participated in shoot-around this morning. It would be nice to see our full team with Ausar.

the latest injury report (6:30) still has them as questionable. i'm really hoping they were cautious with cade and harris so they could be ready for the cup game today.

it might seem small in the big picture but we're 2-0 and reasonably have a chance at this point to advance to the elimination round. i think it'd be a huge step for the young guys, great for detroit fans who have watched a lot uncompetitive ball and good for overall league fans to realize we're a different team now.

that said, i'm still worried about the turner-duren matchup. i wonder if we'll see duren on siakam at all to keep him in the paint and have the PF play turner on the perimeter.

Bucks have won five straight and we've fallen out of the play-in down to 11th with Philly still behind us likely to make a charge forward at some point as well.

If we could manage to win tonight we'd go into our next game against the Bucks 3-0 in CUP play just like the 3-0 Bucks.

We play Philly tomorrow night back at LCA and then we play the Bucks at LCA on Tuesday December 3rd.

Hooray! 1st game we've had our full team (Klintman wouldn't be in the rotation anyway)

Not that the NBA Cup seems to mean very much, but would be cool to get the win here and keep ourselves in contention for it.

I think it does mean something. The field of prospective free agents for a 14 win joke of a team vs a team on the up that also made an appearance in the cup would be significant.

Does this Kane character's grandpa own Fanduel or something? Why do I keep seeing him doing (Please Use More Appropriate Word) interviews while the game is going on?

Seems the refs have decided who they want to win tonight.

TJ McConnell always seems to kill us, and most the time it's pure hustle. Always wanted players like him.

Love to see the emotion from Holland and Ivey on their breakaway dunks.

I miss rivalries. Loved the Pistons-Pacers one in the 2000s

Been a few ropey moments, but so far this has been our most professional performance of the year.

Ivey outplaying Mathurin and Cade outplaying Haliburton is very satisfying.
