Off Topic: Verlander to retire a Tiger!

Tigers bringing in Justin for 25 so he can retire a Tiger.
Kind of proud he wanted to do that, also Tigers improved so much I think he was impressed with the direction and wanted to be a part of one last Motown playoff run.

Ditto. This would be nice at a good price (it's unclear how much Verlander has left approaching his mid 40s coming off an injury-plagued year), but the optics of it would be pretty cool. Haven't seen it reported anywhere though.

They also have an article saying Bregman will sign with the Tigers in a similarly definitive way, and one that predicts Verlander signs with the Cubs.
I’ll again ask- please folks- don’t post on here without, at the very least, reading beyond the headline.
