Nuggets just lost, and the Pistons are their second game of a back to back. Pistons are gonna get mauled, like pigs. Don't care if Cade has a 40 point triple double.

All I'm hoping for is a reasonably close game, and at some point, we get to see klintman play.

stew is probable for the first time in a while so itl'll be good to have him available to go against jokic. the nuggets offense keeps them chugging and his defense will be much needed (as much as i love paul reed's energy).

No wonder zeeb thinks our schedule is terrible. He zones out and misses whole off days.

He's saying that the Nuggets played tonight and we are the second game of the Nugget's B2B. Not the Pistons being on a B2B. At least that's how I interpreted it.

Anyway, Pistons games have recently become must see TV so looking forward to this one.

Awww, c'mon! The Nuggets are due for a 3-game losing streak. :)

I worded that the worst way possible. I see it now.

Way, WAY to much Christmas food.(homemade chicken pot pies, mash potatoes, and Mac&cheese leftovers. Lethargic doesn't even come close to how I feel)

That's crazy talk. All their starters played big minutes last night. They'll be tired

I’m about to just call Cade a SF if they have him matched up at the 3 again. He’s been matched up with LeBron, Durant and Keegan in our last 3 games.

We may be reaching a point where we don't just get completely mauled on talent by non-elite teams. I think we continue to be competetive.

But Joker is a match up nightmare for us, even with Stew. This is another one of those games where it really kinda feels like if Denver makes 15+ 3's they win. We just won't be able to keep up. Gotta find a way to limit the Porters/Brauns' etc and not let those peripheral players bury us.

Love watching Joker play, so should be a good game.

Just 7 Nuggets players got most of their minutes last night. DeAndre Jordan was their 8th man with about 10 minutes played. Hopefully we get back a healthy energized Stewart. I know the entire team is going to come out with energy after that big time game winning 4 point play this team is really playing together right now. I think they know what a big deal it would be to go 4-0 on this Christmas West Coast Road Trip.

The language we use and way we think about positions needs to change. In a traditional sense Cade is really doing a GHill impersonation and effectively playing point-fwd. If we go All-Star ballot style, then I'd have Ivey/Beasley as our Guards and Cade at forward. But it's all a blur.

I've been saying since day 1 that he's not a PG, but others like zeeb will point to his high assist total, which is also valid.

In an ideal world, Ivey develops and the 2 split duties semi-evenly, with at least 1 other playmaker/ball-handler on the floor with them. That's just sorta how the current game is played if you don't have a Joker, Embiid or Giannis.

In a broader sense, specialists are a dying breed. You can't just run out a 7 footer for size these days, you need to have skill & versatility up & down your roster.

Its been since 2018/19 since the Pistons won 4 in a row.

With that said, its been since 2008 since the team went 3-0 on the west coast.

I'm just not ready to pick the Pistons to win any game. I mean, the talent is there. The coaching is there. With that though is youth, overconfidence, and being prone to taking games off.

Nuggets have lost two in a row, and have fallen to 7th in the West. If the Pistons win this game, they not only have turned a corner, they have basically tore the **** corner down.

1% chance. Joker is the key. Let him score. Close down avenues for everyone else.

One thing is for sure. Teams are going to have a nightmare trying to guard this Pistons backcourt for a long damn time.

Not that Ivey is small, but his speed is a problem, and Cades size forces teams to use a forward to defend hj., which creates other problems.

Team is just starting to come together, but man is it tantalizing.
