There are no easy wins, and I hope Pistons don't underestimate the Nets and start the game without energy

Nets in tank mode or are these injuries real? Seems like this is the type of game where a guy who doesn't get many shots for them comes up big with their top 3 players in FGAs getting the night off.

Cam Jonhson has an ankle and left their recent game on crutches and hasn't come back
Cam Thomas is coming back from a long injury and missed their last game as well.
DLo got carried off the court after the bucks game. They were speculating it was a cramp, but he missed their last game as well.

But yeah, hopefully the pistons don't decide to play down to the level of their competition again. They've pulled a couple of those games out recently, but that's a bad habit.

It feels weird to say this should be a win... but like... it **** should. They got nobody.

I was about to say the exact same thing. The Pistons aren't good enough to circle a game ahead of time and say that's a win, but given the rosters, this can't be anything but a win.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

It feels like it's going to be a scrappy game. Those guys are going to hustle, have active hands and maybe create some issues with their pressure... but at the end of they day I don't think they have the talent to hang with us. :D

Almost feel bad for the Nets out there. This is like a Hayes Jackson Livers Bagley Wiseman level lineup.

I am really proud of this team. This is exactly how a team, a good team, should come out against a lesser opponent. Learning, and growing, every game.

So far ahead of where I'd thought they'd be, im just shocked.

Impressive.

During the commercial, Nets players thought Claxton was crazy for keeping his heat at 60, which is what I keep it at when I go to bed (and I close my vent). Easier to sleep this way. Maybe the Nets should focus on rebounding - gosh, they're awful.

i'll take a win regardless but this should be a 20+ point win... they only have 8 players available and i haven't heard of half of them.

Stewart with the whole meathead act is so irritating. THAT'S why I couldn't just go on with the crying about Cole Anthony being dirty. We employ Isaiah Stewart.

So glad the Pistons have Stewart. Other teams know not to mess around with Cade, Ivey, e.t.c.

Old school, real basketball.
