Let’s face it, stuff like this is what will elevate him in the eyes of the officials to start getting more calls. At least that’s my hope.

It's going to take some time getting used to looking at the standings hoping for teams around the Pistons to lose for playoff position rather than hoping for teams to win for lottery position. I can get used to this.

That Marco segment was hilarious. Nice to see Cade come out of his shell, he had some funny spots in that exchange.

I just watched a whole bunch of recent Cade and JBB interviews. Cool stuff.

I didn’t learn anything about Cade I didn’t already know — cool, calm, team-oriented guy that wants to win.

But JBB, that was interesting. He seems to share a lot of qualities with Coach Casey, but since he’s so much younger, he’s still in touch with the players’ generation. More big brother than father figure. And he’s very sharp, no surprise as a second generation coach.

He may not be a master tactician, but he’s a great fit for where we are now.

Hmmmm i just noticed that we are firmly the 9th best team in the East. So this is perfect. We will make the play-in. Lose the play-in. And keep our top13protected draft pick
We won't beat Miami whether they keep or trade jimmy. We won't beat Trae Young. Orlando. Or Indy. Won't even beat bulls if they stay together. So there it is lol

Our games against the better teams (60+% winning BOS, CLE, NY, OKC, HOU, MEM, DEN) we have 8 of those games remaining and three are against the Cavs who I think JB will be able to sneak at least one game from being their former coach.

Against "Bad" teams winning less than 40% of their games(8 teams) this far we have 14 games remaining.

Our games against teams closer to us(14 different teams) (winning above 40% and less than 60%) we have 17 game remaining.

The fact that we have 14 more games against the bottom/worst 8 tanking teams in the league is pretty much setting us up to almost certainly win 40+ games this year.

We are 22-17 in the last 39 games, same record the 4th seed Bucks sport.

Eta: Also only 6 teams in the whole league (both conferences) have more road wins than us.

Just updated, Cade still in the top ten ladder for MVP.

Ideally we kind of stay in the clump with the Pacers and Bucks and that 4/5/6 clump starts to separate itself a bit from the clump with Orlando/Atlanta/Miami in the 7/8/9 spots. The know eventually Orlando will get healthy and make a run at it so getting a bit ahead while they are still injured could be big for us.

Winning does everything for an athlete, I dont want to ever see my team tanking again. We are leaving cancer buried and living in the lights as we are meant to.

Hahaha yes totally. Let fate lead us wherever it may. Just continue to try to optimize our team and win and wherever we draft is where we draft. Look at giannis butler kawhi. All middle to end of 1st rd picks. Just make some moves around the fringes and leave our picks alone. Let the basketball gods take care of the rest.
