This is our road back-to-backer for the season. The home one comes in March v. Washington, but with a day off inbetween. This one in Chicago is consecutive days.

Yeah, they started it right after the covid bubble to cut down on travel. Now they've hung on to a slice of it.

They need to figure out a way to do this so it's fair for all teams. I hate when the other team is fresh and we're on a b2b. Just have the same 2 teams play their b2bs like this

We're not on a b2b, though. Neither team played yesterday.

Good point. Makes sense.
I'm sure Adam will start calling these "mini Emirates" but I like playing the same team like this. A good 'control'

So I've been rewatching a bunch of Pistons games lately, and some of these games seem like a revenge tour by the Pistons. The team absolutely circled some of these dates on the calendar. The main part of the team, from last year is still here, and they have a special edge against teams that beat the hell out of them last season. The Knicks were victims, twice in their own gym, Cade just owning that team.

It culminated in the Sixers destruction, and seeped into the Charlotte game, but the one team, this team seems to genuinely loathe, are the Pacers. I mean real anger at the players there.

A series between them is absolutely possible if they get the 4/5 seeds. That would be an explosive series man.

I can’t stand the goofy Pacers or Halliburton’s arrogance.

I can’t wait until the Pistons can dominate the Pacers.

A playoff series would be must see TV.

I don't have a problem with the road back to back as long as it doesn't impact the overall number of home and road games we have against a team. Reduces travel times.

In baseball all games are organized into series as a necessity to limit travel time. I don't see a problem with some degree of that here.

His body is still filling out. He's going to get stronger. And he's going to be a problem for other teams.
