Smells like a L. Hope I'm wrong, but this is a tough stretch of games. Jimmy & Steph are a handful.

I expect us to be competitive and after that it'll mostly be how the shots fall and how the whistles blow.

Early west coast trips are fine for young teams before the all-star break. Post all-star, they are brutal. Splitting the next two would be amazing, but I am not counting on it.

For that to happen, Beasley has to break out of the mini-funk he's in, and, in captain obvious news, Tobias is super important to this team, so let's hope he's back. Haven't heard anything as of yet.

*edit* Harris is listed as probable for tonight.

Here we go. A non cupcake team. If our shooters aka Tobias THJr Three-sley light it up we got a chance. Hope we win

I like the matchup. Duren is going to have to guard the perimeter well because GS runs a lot of offense with Draymond outside of the key. I think Ausar can keep Jimmy in check, but we're going to need to switch well as a team and try to guard tight against the three point line. Another statement game for Detroit, if they can get a W. Should be a good game as long as our offense doesn't disappear and we take care of the ball.

We just had a 2nd day off for practice for the first time since the all-star break. Hopefully they come out sharp tonight.

* Whether the team actually did conduct a practice - and how it went if they did - is unknown because we don't have beat reporters who report on those type of things anymore. It's a shame.

This Pistons team has more then a chance.

I did a quick stats lookup since Feb 8th. (Date of Butlers first game with the Warriors.)

PISTONS/WARRIORS SINCE FEB 8TH

W/L-Pistons 9-2 4th Warriors 10-2 3rd
PPG-Pistons 122.8 4th Warriors 120.8 7th
FG%-Pistons 51.6 1st Warriors 46.5 14th
3P%-Pistons 36.5 10th Warriors 34.8 15th
FTA-Pistons 23.9 5th Warriors 24.3 4th
APG-Pistons 30.4 5th Warriors 31.6 2nd
SPG-Pistons 10.1 3rd Warriors 10.0 4th
RPG-Pistons 45.2 13th Warriors 46.2 7th
BPG-Pistons 5.9 2nd Warriors 5.1 9th
+/- Pistons +13.0 2nd Warriors +12.8 3rd
OFFRTG-Pistons 120.1 6th Warriors 121.0 4th
DEFRTG-Pistons 107.3 1st Warriors 108.5 4th
REB%-Pistons 52.8 5th Warriors 51.6 8th
TS%-Pistons 61.8 2nd Warriors 58.9 10th
PIE-Pistons 58.2 1st Warriors 57.8 2nd
PTSOFFTO-Pistons 21.4 3rd Warriors 25.7 1st
FBPS-Pistons 24.9 1st Warriors 16.0 12th
PITP-Pistons 60.2 1st Warriors 51 11th

Since Feb 8th, this is a battle of titans. The same prescription as some other games. Run the Warriors ancient legs to death, take advantage of the Pistons size, and crush them in the paint.

I really want the Pistons to win this game. Don't like the Warriors. Respect them and enjoy watching them while Curry is awesome, but just don't like em.

Na, we need Stew. Let Linny kick him in the nuts, Draymond punch back and they're both ejected!

(I always wanted Scott Hastings to do this to MJ back in 1990)

The Warriors are looking like an elite team again, this would be a massive W if the Pistons can pull it off.
