Get this tonight (as we should) and we're likely slotted in the 5th seed. :)

Just got to get it done against the league's worst. Can't be losing games like this while fighting for playoff position. Hawks are showing signs of life with three wins in a row.

For a decent preview(Minus Kuzma/Val e.t.c.)check out the game from November 17th if you got league pass. Several key items of interest in this game;

1.)You can see the team starting to come together, as it's only their 16th game of the season.

2.)You can see how good the backcourt of Cade/Ivey can be. Cade had a triple double,(21/10/10) and Ivey dropped 28/8/4.

3.)How different the offense looks with Ivey, both in the starting group, and when he's running the bench squad. Electric is the word that comes to mind.

Very illuminating. One negative though, Wendell Moore jr.

Should certainly be two wins, and tonight's line is encouraging. But be careful. They're playing better. Though their schedule has been soft lately, 7 of their 13 wins have come in the last 5.5 weeks, and they're 3-2 in March.

It seemed like Ivey did a lot of his scoring when Cade was not in the game.. JB tried to stagger their minutes as much as possible.

After watching the last few months, I'm convinced more than ever Ivey needs to be traded or comes of the bench... Any eye test will show that we're a much better team without him on both ends, and we would actually get a player for him in a trade (against him just being out with no reciprocity)

Ivey coming off the bench? Let's not go full Monty. The key turnaround was installing Ausar in the starting lineup, not so much the exclusion of Ivey.

This should be two wins in the bank as long as the Pistons take them very lightly and don't put in the effort. OKC after that so need to bag these two.

It would take quite a collapse to fall into the play-in, the Pistons should be looking up the standings not behind.

I can see the argument on both sides, as Ivey is a bad defender. With that said, he would be essentially replacing THJ, and I don't *think* anyone would argue that he is a clear upgrade.

Only way to know for sure, is to play with Ivey/Ausar in the starting group, so next year I guess.

17 games left and we’re up by 6 wins.

It can happen. Not likely at this point but we need to be vigilant.

And like I said to me I just want to be firmly in the playoffs not the play-in.

I agree that moving up is more likely than moving down but either way the goal is the same- win.

Should be a good test of where the team is at mentally. Good teams just take care of business against teams they should beat.

Anything can happen until it's clinched but it would take a major collapse for the Pistons to lose hold on the playoff spot.
Regardless, it's real nice to be talking about keeping a firm hold on a playoff spot than keeping a hold on the #1 lottery spot. What a crazy turnaround.

Let’s all unite and reflect on how useless Shaq is as an NBA commentator.

Watching the pregame, and I knew they were up there, but didn't know Cade/Duren have connected for 48 lob dunks, the highest amount for any duo in the league.

Disappointing start. Can’t let bad teams hang around.

Pistons need to beat them down quickly and get some rest.. Don't play around with this team.
