They are ahead of schedule. And they are one of the best surprises in the NBA this season. “The plan was always to win. The plan was to be better in January than we were in November and to be better in March than we were in January,” Pistons general manager Trajan Langdon said. “I always told my people, ‘I don’t know what that’s going to mean ultimately, but that’s what we’re going to set out to do.’ “But to say that with 10 games left we’re going to be at 40 wins, I would have lost that bet.”

Just as an FYI, the Pistons @ OKC has been added to the national TV schedule, and will be shown on ESPN.
Edit*
The Pistons @ Grizz will be national as well on NBATV
The Kings @ Pistons will be on National NBATV.

Hardaway being
questionable just a few days after that injury is a win. We figured he'd be out for a significant length time when he went down.

He don’t want to lose his spot in rotation, players step up when others are out

All year long, I focus on the bench to see their reaction to a great play, bad call, and they aren't just playing for cameras. I think all the guys have this primal instinct to back their teammates up, and to be happy for them.

Our depth. My god.
I'm over here thinking about a future Cade/Beasley/Ron/Ausar/Duren lineup winning championships. Then I remember we have Ivey. And Stew is ballin. Tobias "the placeholder" Harris playing his role to perfection. Sasser showing out. Up and down the roster we are really very competitive.

Sasser really wanting to prove he needs some playoff run.

Blaha seems to think Ivey might come back for the playoffs. Might not be necessary (or worth risking adding him to the mix with no adjustment period) if Sasser keeps playing like this.

Real shame we don't have more minutes for Sasser.

Unfortunately he's stuck behind Beasley.

I could see a scenario where Ivey/Cade start with Beasley/Sasser staggered off the bench. Ivey getting hurt threw a wrench in things. We had to get another ball-handler after that.
