Cade is OUT

Anyone concerned? I'm not hearing anything.

He's got a calf contusion.... quick google search says anywhere from a few days to a few weeks depending on the severity of it.

I'm sure he wants to get back sooner than later, but with the playoffs coming up and him already having met the number of games needed for all-nba I think it'd be wise to rest that leg until it feels close to 100% even if it means sitting out 6 or 7 games total.

Hopefully he plays the last 2 season games at least

Yesterday, the Cavs struggled to beat the Spurs. I'm eager to see if we come out with a defensive mindset.

Pistons have gotten good enough to beat certain teams without Cade, but the Cavs are not one of those teams.

I'm just hoping its not an embarrassing game to be honest. Close-ish(lose by 8-12)would be just fine by me.

Now if Mitchell, Garland, are out, then we got something...

I'm hoping this also wasn't a thing he's been dealing with for a while, but wanted to hit the 66 game threshold

Right now I’m going to just assume they’re playing it super safe with Cade.

I don’t think it’s worth risking more severe injury going into the playoffs given how likely it is we’re locked into 6th.

Hope that’s right.

Getting a little extra rest and getting all our key guys up to 100% are good goals. The wins are nice when we're able to get them, but not the priority right now.

Nothing to worry about.

When are we going to start beating up the Cavs for JB like we dominated the Raps for Coach Casey?

Pretty much got the 6th spot almost locked down thus could be making sure Cade is ready for the playoffs. Hope the rest of the crew, especially Auser, have great games to make it close. Not worried about winning, just showing they can compete against an elite team without Cade. This is where Bickerstaff needs to shine.

Yes.

Not hugely concerned until there's something to truly be concerned about but missing 3 games in a row down a playoff stretch should raise a little suspicion about how long term the injury might be.

No Harris either tonight. I'm starting to think the Pistons want to play NY.

I thnkk they are looking at it like they probably wont be able to get homecourt over indy and ny at this point, and it doesn't really matter which one they play, so they are resting anyone with any kind of lingering injury to get em right. They are nailed into that 5/6 position so it makes sense.

Sometimes I forget how much fire this squad now has.
