In terms of punches thrown or whatever, yeah, it was nothing.

But if I were commish. I’d be letting the players know that letting a scuffle go into the stands means “you are gonna get hit really hard in the wallet”. As far as I know, no customers were seriously hurt from this, but they could have been.

I wish we could have seen what was going on at the bottom of the pile. Holland and Naz were buried under bodies for a while, so who knows who did what under there. Holland came up very red in the face, so to assume that those two were just laying there waiting is probably not accurate.

Holland getting a suspension is ridiculous. All he did was foul Naz. Thats it. Sasser I understand. Stew I understand. DDV should have gotten the most games, but if he and Stew both got 2 games I'd understand.

Pistons should tell the press this won't change how the team plays, and if anything, because of the obvious bias in the suspensions, will make the team more physical.

Gores should pay all the fines. I am absolutely ok with antagonizing the league office. If they are gonna make you the villain, lean into that, and start selling Bad Boys 2.0 shirts. Suprised it isn't happening yet to be honest. Lots of money to be made.

We don't need to be handing out 5 game suspensions over every lil scuffle. And I'm OK with repeat offenders being treated more harshly as long as the league at least tries to be consistent.

Whatever you want to say about the merit, it is consistent with Dumars' policies in the past. Repeat offenders get hit a bit more. And like it or not Stewart most certainly is that.

It seems like he’s definitely sour.

He’s a Piston at the end of the day and he really embraced Detroit having the Joe Dumars field house for many years.

It’s unfortunate that Gores couldn’t find a way to keep him with the franchise or at least mend fences at least.

Dumars did get canned so I expected him to hit Detroit worse than Minny, but it was obviously that Dante and Reid were equally guilty in my opinion. I was expecting 2 games for Dante, Reid, Holland and Stewart/ Thus, I think overall, the suspensions were light across the board. I expected at least 2 games for Stew being he already had a tech earlier in the game and his prior probable cause issues. Thus, I am not super angry at that as I expect that from any higher institution. Hence, I am actually pleased things didn't turn out worse like I expected, but still feel shafted cuz Dante deserved at least 2 games.
