Re: #1 - Pistons@Knicks - 6pm ET
I'm expecting the Pistons interior defense to be really good. It will come down to what the Knicks can do from 3 point land as to whether or not they beat us. The Knicks average 34.1 3 attempts per game but I could see them shooting a little more than average considering we're likely going to be playing tough physical interior defense.
15-35 from deep for the Knicks and we lose the game. (42.8%)
11- 35 from deep for the Knicks and we win the game. (31.4%)
Those 12 points make or break the game for us. Either way I think its likely a single digit win or loss and a dog fight.

If key guys can stay out of foul trouble (Cade, Duren, Stewart, Ausar) I like our chances. I expect the Pistons to play physical defense either way.

Re: #1 - Pistons@Knicks - 6pm ET
I think this series is going to come down to three main things:
1. How physical do the refs let things get (more physical plays to our advantage, but if Brunson is allowed to foul hunt we could be in for it)
2. How do the Knicks hold up in terms of health (they don't use their depth very well so if even one key player misses some time, that could really be to our advantage)
3. How well do they rim protect (when we have done our best against them it's been primarily, imo, because they can't stop Cade from getting to the rim or Duren from applying consistent rim pressure. KAT is bad at rim pressure but we haven't really faced them with Robinson back in the lineup. How much impact will he have? Could be a key to the series).

Re: #1 - Pistons@Knicks - 6pm ET
Don't care what happens past;
1.)Cade performs in the playoffs so we as a group(fans) don't have to worry about it every year like Philly fans.
2.)One of the young guys is going to have a bad playoff. Accept it now. Cade/Ausar/Holland/Stew/Duren is going to be the deer in the headlights, or maybe even several.
3.)Soaking up, that sweet, sweet, playoff experience. Expectations are all over the place. I remember that the Pistons were not supposed to be here. Its all gravy.
My main hope is that the Pistons are competitive, and win a game. This group has been excellent in getting several streaks out of the way, and I fully expect them to do so again.

Re: #1 - Pistons@Knicks - 6pm ET
F all that.
I’m content with the season results, but not just happy to be here. The Knicks just aren’t that good, so the fact we aren’t that good doesn’t matter. Play hard, play as a team, get it done.

no Pistons stream? I only see Knicks and ESPN. This is Blaha's last playoff call (the rest will only be nationally televised) so I'd really like to hear him get so excited.

Excitement - check.
Anxiety - check.
Beer - check.
Selection of foul-mouthed outbursts - I'll find those as I need them.
All set then...
