I hope to see Ron again. He doesn’t have much to prove in summer league but he sure makes the relatively sloppy games more enjoyable.

I’m guessing he’s done. We’ve still got those extra roster spots so time to see who’ll round out the bench.

That'd be disappointing. Yes, he was drafted much higher than most guys in summer league, but he's still very young. Most importantly, just getting him some playing time and confidence is a good thing. It's already a pretty deep bench on paper and he barely played in the playoffs. I'm much more concerned with getting Holland ready for the season than I am about who 11th and 12th players will be this year. Not saying play him every game of Summer league, but one great game and that's it kind of sucks.

Good start by Smith. Lanier hit a quick shot.

Smith has been impressive whenever I’ve seen him. I remember him looking good in a game during the season I believe as well.

Maybe Lanier won't have to change his shot. He gets it off so quickly!

I think Jenkins could be the backup pg. He plays well on both ends, doesn't seem to do anything bad.. Ron hits a 3, but getting others involved.

Klintman really does have a nice feel to the game. How many steals does he have against the primary ballhandler in SL? At least 3 so far.

No steals this game. There were two plays where he hesitated (like last game) wondering if he had a chance, and then went for it (not counting it when he lost it and quickly tried to get it back).

Are we sure Daniss Jenkins isn't the backup PG?

My mistake! I was looking at Smith. I only slept 45 minutes!

I'm wondering if he will take Simone's place.

I know it's Summer League, but these young guys are playing Detroit Pistons basketball. Up 20. Just keep it up. I'm glad they allow 10 fouls. I can't believe Shepperd was the 3rd pick. I could see 15th pick, but 3rd?

I also love that the veterans are watching.
