Miami Players boning underage girls?

Looks like Davis and Haslem partying with very young girls at a hotel, with lots of alcohol.
One of the girls claims on her myspace page that the had sex with both Haslem and Davis.

I don't think it matters. Most states allow only an age gap of between 3 or 4 years if one is a minor. Ricky Davis and Haslem are both too old.

I remember a news story where an 18 year old was being charged with statutory rape for having sex with a 16 year old.... and they pointed out that the legal age of consent was 17, and a 45 year old could have sex with a 17 year old and it wouldn't be against the law.
I have no idea what state that was though.

Really doesn't surprise me, haven't seen pictures, but I've heard the same kind of things about Chauncey before, so it seems like its possible for anybody in the league.

Why would a multimillion dollar athelete allow obviously underage girls to be on his lap, with their arms around you in a picture in a hotel room with alcohol in the photo?

Looks to me it was just a couple of pictures. Can not tell if anything went on between all parties besides a few drinks, it is her word word against his.

Chauncey and Ron Mercer paid off a rape suit rather than fight it, mostly to avoid PR hassles. That likely had at least a little something to do with them both being traded out of Boston. Antoine Walker did fight an aspect of it and, in doing so, it came out that the accuser was a nutjob with (IIRC) a history of false accusations to the police (though not rape specifically). There *was* consensual sex and it would've been bad publicity, thus the hush money.
