Bruce Bowen was a decent defender who bounced around the league from team to team until he got Tim Duncan behind. Previous to that he was in Miami with Mourning behind him. You can be a much better perimeter defender if you know there's someone there to erase your mistakes. Because now you can push up and contest every jumper and know that people aren't really thinking drive because they know they've got to beat a shotblocker once they get there.

Also, Hunter could also help here by getting into the opposing guards head on Defense.
This looks about right... now how do we clear room for Amir?... somebody has to go.... honestly I'd rather have Amir's intagibles over Hayes jump shooting.
Joe is extremely loyal to Dice.... to a fault.
Right now teams know that if they get Sheed in early foul trouble (easy to do) he becomes passive with his interior D... then we have no resistance in the paint.
