^I'd rather dump Flip now and open up that roster spot.
We could cycle that inactive spot between Hermann and Amir and spend the remaining 60% of the season deciding which one should go inactive.

Billups/Stuckey/Hunter* (although I'd rather do away with him completely use Afflalo as our ball-hawk off the bench)

Prince/Hayes/Hermann*
McDyess/Maxiell/Amir*
Wallace/Brezec/(Samb)

If we are leaning towards Brezec not being the guy, we can pick up that 4th big (Webber, Brown, etc) now, re-acclimate them to the NBA lifestyle, and run with 15 men until we cook up that salary dump we've been looking for.

I would be using our expirings along with Tay and Max to get Marion. Its not like we will be able to sign Max anyway; the commitment to Amir, and Dice will prevent a contract extension for Max. Anyway... Amir has awesome upside... lets throw him into the fire and see if he can handle it.
