If we lose to the Knicks it's officially time to rebuild.

No team has ever generated so much press time while also achieving so little.

No team has ever spent so much to get back so little in return.

No team has ever made more big moves while still standing still or even moving backwards.

And I dont just mean in basketball either. At least the Timberpuppies lose quietly.

This is a litmus test game. If we lose, its time to fire Flip and waive every player on the roster. Hell, might be worth considering even if we make this a close one. I feel that strongly about how bad this Knicks team is.

Detroit has won 10 of its last 12 games against the New York Knicks, which includes a 98-86 win on Nov. 21.

Pistons guard Richard Hamilton averaged 32 points per game last season against New York, his highest scoring average against any team in the league last season.

If we don't get the bench some serious minutes, I will be very disappointed :nonono:

Eddy Curry is leading the Knicks with 0.56 blocks per game!

edit: after last nights OT win, starters playing heavy minutes, i'd wish Flip would go into this game with this mindset: OK, we're won a hard fought battle last night, we're 6 games in front of the 3rd best team in the east (Orlando), and we're playing the Knicks who suck, not matter whats the score i'd just play the startes 2 Qs and let the bench battle it out this time...but it ain't gonna happen, ever...so we can just hope the starter build an early lead...

I thought that Curry leading the team in blocks with 0.56bpg was a mistake as well until i checked it twice as well.

The skinny: Not much has changed for the slumping Knicks since their Nov. 21 game at The Palace. If anything, their predicament has gotten worse, as their 1-9 mark over the past 10 games indicates. At 9-26, New York is at the bottom of the Atlantic Division and has only one more win than the last-place team in the conference, Miami. Last time out the Knicks were burned by a 40-point effort from Chris Bosh, who led the Raptors to a win at Madison Square Garden Friday. For the Pistons, Sunday

Dice always play well against his old team, so hopefully he can find his shot in this game.

Marbury isn't playing, due to a ankle problem. Fred Jones will replace him in the starting lineup.

Tay 0-4 to start and our offense looking pretty stagnant.

Knew his hot shooting of late couldn't last.
